Odell Beckham Jr

HWell if the rumors are true and we’re signing Foles, then I would imagine that there’s pretty much zero chance we are in the market for drafting a QB at 7.

I’ve seen a lot of people suggesting, and rightfully so, that we need to draft an offensive weapon at 7, like Metcalf from Ole Miss.  Why not instead offer the Giants the 7th pick for OBJ?  That’d give them back to back picks.  Do you think there would be interest in that?

Beckham Jr. makes about $17million in base salary this season. Who are we cutting on top of all the players we're going to have to cut to sign Foles to add OBJ to our roster?

Why not? If you’re truly trying to win a Super Bowl this year, we might as well go all in. You would not want the best WR in the league at the beginning of his prime, who’s also under contract for the next 5 years? I’d do it in a heartbeat.

I’m trading AJ Bouye’s cap hit of $15.5 Million for draft picks and drafting a corner. You’ll have to move on from Bouye anyway when you pay Ramsey.

I'd rather draft Metcalf and we can't afford him and Foles

You could trade Bouye for picks and create the cap room. I’d draft a corner, which is what we’re gonna have to do eventually anyway when we pay Ramsey.

They should still draft a QB at 7

We’re not going to. ESPN is reporting we’re going to sign Foles to a multi-year deal next week. We’re not going QB round 1, we’re pushing to win this year. Would you rather have a Round 1 OL, or OBJ?

Would be awesome. Im always amazed at people not wanting superstar players and instead taking complete unknowns

Oh look, the guy who thinks Bortles is better than Cousins and thought we would be like 7-2 by the bye week lol. Of course he would be behind getting Beckham.

No, we're not trading for OBJ and we're not trading Bouye for picks. I'm not against having OBJ, but it's not going to happen. Especially with our cap space.
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

Not even close to happening and it would be a huge disaster if it did. You'd be adding gas to the fire of upset divas freaking out.

So first Brown.  Now Beckham.  Anybody else?

And I'm amazed at people who can't look behind the scenes and see there is far more to signing a player than what happens on the field.
