Looks like they’ve locked in on Bosa. I remember the hype on this guy a couple of years ago. He was a fan favorite of those who look to SPARQ and RAS as the Bible and hymn book of scouting. Goes to show the draft really is a crapshoot.

The Niners used Thomas so poorly =/
As Alfie said, who says no to Telvin for Thomas straight up? That's a big late rumor. https://twitter.com/NFL_DougFarrar/statu...2046895104

Maybe I just haven't paid as much attention this year but I felt like I hadn't heard our named tied to Dillard much until just now. Oesher saying he thinks Taylor or Dillard, and now Pauline saying we are a potential landing spot for him. Based on all the previous chatter, I would have guessed we were interested in Jonah more than Dillard. I was thinking Dillard was more of a possibility if we were to trade down. Part of me is really hoping we go with Hockenson. As I mentioned in another thread, I haven't really followed the draft prospects this year so I don't know if he is as good as the hype. But I would love for us to get a versatile TE who is just as good a run blocker as a threat in the passing game. I dont know if Hock is that guy, but I would love for the Jags to think he is and draft him to be that guy. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff.

When I say, "in play," I mean one of a number of possibilities. Pass rusher is more of a premium position than TE or RT. To say there is no chance is foolish, you don't work in the front office and you have no idea what the rankings on their boards are. We show less advertisements to registered users. With Foles now in the mix in place of Blake, maybe we are witnessing a change in philosophy?

The emphasis in Jax is run blocking, and that's a weakness for Dillard. If we get Dillard and then a bunch of WRs and a TE, then I'd say so. I didn't think of it that way when I said "no chance." Oliver would be a great pick giving us the kind of rotating 3-tech's Wash desires on his DL along with Tavon. Why the beef with Oliver?
