Everyone wants to say he's the best pass blocker but he didn't go against any good edge rushers so it's really an unknown.  If Taylor or Williams would of played in the pac 12 they would of dominated too, not to mention they are both better run blockers with a nasty streak.  If one gave an analysis on Joeckel and said he was soft it would of been the best one given

i think its more so the high level pass protection he showed combined with being so athletic is why people are projecting him as the best pass blocker.

Joeckel was a great prospect coming out

Yeah Joeckel was a great prospect coming out but he was also soft and didnt have that mean streak that tackles should have

He performed well all week during the Senior Bowl against top pass rushers.  But I do have concerns about his run blocking.

The top pass rushers werent at the Senior Bowl.  Willliams also can play any of the oline positions and probably be an elite guard that could take over for Cann if he doesnt pan out at tackle.  If Dillard strugles at LT I dont see him really playing any other position on the oline

So Sweat and Ferguson were not among the best pass rushers?

I agree completely with you in terms of Williams' versatility.

Being they were on different teams, how many time did Dillard go against them and did he win? I thought Sweat had a great SB

Considering the practices are intra squad, I would imagine quite a bit.  Based on what I saw (I recorded the first day or two) he held up decently.

I think Id go Risner over Dillard. Riser was a good pass protector and also the best run blocker. He can also play every position. Dream scenario would be Hockenson and Risner. Best run blocking TE and tackle and both good in pass pro too

Nice.

I wouldn't mind trading back to Atlanta, picking up their 2nd round pick, landing Sweat, trading back up into the first for Fant, and then landing McGary.

If we had that trade and still wound up with Hockenson, I am not sure if I would want to trade back up into the first, but if so, it would be for a RT like McGary, then either Ferguson, Lindstrom, or Savage or Abrams.

I dont have WR as a high priority but if Metcalf were to fall, him and Risner are the only 2 players I would trade up for.  If we somehow got Hockenson and Metcalf I would feel we came away with the best TE and best WR in the draft.

You don't think Oliver is good?  Who do you want?

I think he has talent but he will be a headache.

Hockenson
J. Allen (if he falls)
Q. Williams (same as above)
Trade down a bit for Jonah Williams or N. Fant.

Would you take Risner at 7 if Jonah is gone

People always talk about Hockenson's run blocking but he was pff highest rated receiving TE

Was just asking about Risner if Jonah is gone. Where do you have him ranked out of the tackles

I don't see the Dolphins passing on Sweat at #13.
