A 3rd rounder is 'next to nothing'?  In fact that's all the Jags got out of the trade from moving down from 5 to 10 in this mock draft.  In fact, the Jags got that EXACT third round spot almost.

How can it cost you a franchise QB if you pick at 3 and move to 5 and Manziel and Bortles is on the board? You are guaranteed one of them. If Cle. took Manziel so take Bortles, if they took Bortles take Manziel.

I'm all for trading down but atleast get decent value. It is hard tho when there's only a few picks to trade . And look at past drafts just bc you're guaranteed one of the two qbs. You're still getting the lesser qb.


Would you be ok with taking rg3 over luck. Locker over cam ?

Not always, the first QB picked isnt always the best.  It really just depends on how you rate them.  I have Bortles and Manziel about the same, I think Manziel is more of a riskier pick but with more upside.  I want one of the top 4 guys, Manziel, Clowney, Bortles, or Teddy.  To trade back to a spot that would put me out of reach for one of those guys I would want nice offer to trade back.

Your right it was a 3rd rounder but based on going back 13 spots and compared to what the other trades netted, the bills moved back 8 spots from 8 to 16 and got a 2nd 3rd and a 7th.

Rams moved from 22 to 30 picked up a 3rd and 7th (gave a 7th in 2015 back)

 

They should have gotton more value is all i was saying and that people might look at Jerrah as the short bus rider.

Oh yeah, they should have gotten more.  Though the higher in the draft you are, the more you'll get for moving back.

 

People probably already see Jerry as the short bus rider.  Lucky for the league, he's a GM who's owner will probably not fire him.  Probably because of blackmail he has on the owner

It's still a ways off, but I thought KYjaggy orphaned Seattle.  I wanna say someone else was in line to claim them.  That should be sorted out at some point.
