Oh hi Mr. Caldwell. Could you please share with us what your plan is for rounds 2-7?

Would be nice if we get tre mason. Have a complete offense based on running the ball, controlling the clock and killing teams with the play action

It gives our defense the best chance of staying fresh and wears down opposing defense. Balance is the best way of beating the potential Watt/Clowney duo

balance, balance and more balance

I think our defense would be improved by having an offense that didn't go three and out a half dozen times a game.

Only a chump boos the home team!

Quote:Eh, Browns don't want Manziel, they were playing the smoke screen game to get Bortles.

I think Houston gets Clowney, we will have Bridgewater at the 3rd spot

How do you know they don't want Manziel? Someone said they are focusing on him like they are still doing their homework - which means the team has not decided yet if he is the right guy for their new coach.

Bingo, a great defense is a great offense

1. The Manziel stuff and them wanting Manziel in the midst of the smokescreen is a good indication

2. Bortles is big enough to handle the punishment of the North

3. Serious doubts of Manziel's ability to play in the pocket

I thought that you read that they definitely want Manziel and are trading up for him?

I said it looks like he is their favorite and I am worried about the possibility of a leapfrog trade. Not quite the same as saying they definitely will pick Manziel.

So if you don't know if they want him or not, why are you worried they will leapfrog us for Manziel?

1. They have the extra picks necessary to move up.

2. They know we also need a quarterback ASAP.

From his comments, there are only two players I can think of that could be considered a "fall" at #3.

That's Clowney and Bridgewater.

Those are the only two guys being mentioned as Texans picks.

If it's a QB it's Bortles.

Nah, Bortles is not even a consensus top 10 pick.

1. Accurate

2. decision making

3. Anticipation

Bortles is marginal in all three

Bortles is marginal in all three
But he's the obvious choice one pick after us because he's "big enough to handle the abuse of the north".

Okay buddy. Why don't you go scour the internet for some articles about Teddy to obsess over.
