Donte Moncrief

#21

There wasn't another receiver on the market that was willing to take a one year deal. This was a win/win for both the Jags and for Moncrief.

He isn't getting cut, and it wasn't a mistake by the FO. Can we move on?

I know we have problems all over the offense, but this dude is trash. He plays with such little effort. I am now leaning towards getting Dez and cutting this guitar playing fool.....
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

Good for you. I'll tell ya what, that can cancel out like 25% of your asinine take that Saquon Barkley was nothing special.

He could have a great season in 2018, but long term, I still say he will be nothing special. Remember Trent Richardson, had a good first year.

LMAO are you really trying to use Trent Richardson as an example to try and make your point? Barkley has shown more promise in just one game this season, than Richardson showed in his entirely short NFL career.

Barkley is the real deal. Either you're not watching him play, or you're just in denial my dude. I'm not a fan of taking a RB in the top 5-10, but if you're going to take one, Barkley is the dude you take. Dude is good and he's going to stay good for a long time in this league.

And this is coming from somebody who thought the Giants were going to regret that pick. I was wrong... He has been the entire Giants' Offense. He's already making a case to be in discussion as the best RB in the league, just after a handful of games.

Moncrief is just another run of the mill receiver that is easily replaceable. Unfortunately Chark isn't really contributing anything. Westbrook and Cole are our only threats and they aren't that much of a threat. The whole team looks bad.. but I can't help but notice Moncrief never really gets separation and doesn't have the size that say ARob had to get the 50/50 balls. Doesn't really bring anything unique to the table.
No pain, no gain.

Moncrief and ARob are literally the same exact size. The problem is, Moncrief isn't even close to 1/4 the WR that ARob is.

I’m beginning to sour on Moncrief and wonder what he brings to this team. But believe it or not his numbers are similar to ARob‘s this year.

Moncrief lacks heart. Plain and simple. I see him pull up on routes, short arm balls, and check for defenders on crosses. He's got the measurables, but he does not have the intangibles. He'd be a great 3rd or 4th WR, but he is not an ideal starter, imo.

I don't care if their numbers are similar this year... All you have to do is watch them both play, it's a night and day difference. Moncrief couldn't hold ARob's jock strap.

Hahahaha have you seen Barkley play this year? Richardson never had a run of over 35 yards his rookie year.

It’s hard to admit when you’re wrong.

Lol, you are making yourself look worse and worse.  On top of saying McCaffrey wont be good because he is white lol.

I think you should leave scouting to the actual scouts. It's becoming comical at this point. If you were a NFL decision maker you would have been fired a long time ago.

6th round picks have proven to be a waste of time.

Besides that, you don’t let talent like Monqueef walk out the door.

The whole front office should be fired for this.

That was fun.  Rolleyes Big Grin
