Telvin got paid.
I’ll mark this on the calendar.  I was wrong.  This usually doesn’t happen to me.

It’s Offish, Sports are Broken.

Owners have too much power and Players now realize their own power.

Regardless, it’s kind of ridiculous that they get paid 7-8 figures a year and think that they are being oppressed. I’m all for speaking out against the man. But, for a LB who makes millions to play a game for 7-12 years, it kind of lacks its emotional punch.

Telvin, drop out of football and get into politics or public service.

As for Ramsey. He’s amazing and a Phenomenal athlete. But, I hope for his sake he’s not lying. It would be incredibly hypocritical for a man as religious as him to lie.

Very disappointed in these Jaguars. Especially Telvin. He’s a leader and a positive force in a locker room. With Ramsey you kind of just expect this.

That Being said. I HOPE TC isn’t the one making our players feel like they aren’t being heard or they aren’t being respected. That doesn’t help Dougs job at ALL

I would love these guys to go hold down a 9-5 and have very little left over after paying your bills. Buy generic brand items just to get by. Stay home on the weekend because you can’t go out due to money. Go to college and get out in debt for 20-30 years in student loans. Go stand in a factory on your feet 8-12 hours a day.. or hustle up a roof with 100 pounds of shingles day in and day out.

These fellas play a game 1 day a week for 16 weeks and have more than any of us to retire at 30 years old than we will at 65.

How many times in your 40s/50s/60s you just wish you had enough to retire..spend your days with your family.

These gentlemen need perspective.

Well you can clearly tell they both didn't get into FSU on an ounce of their academic merits, and that's OK... but these guys aren't very smart and its painful to look at.

1. Telvin already got paid. What is he rambling about? He just had a bad season too, does he expect a bigger contract after a down year, while still on a new deal he just recently agreed to? Perplexing to say the least.

2. Shad already said it, on record, he wants to make Ramsey the highest paid CB in the NFL. Why is Ramsey so belligerent and soft? I truly don't get it.

Its very clear neither want to be a Jaguar anymore. What a pair of head cases out of FSU. What a shame.

I feel so sorry for Telvin and Jalen. I wish they were able to feed their families. FSU Quitters

Yeah Telvin got paid, he wants another raise after his down year so he thinks the best way to get it is sit out a year.  lol

It's probably more along the lines of Coughlin going up to Smith and telling him he's terrible and that he's going to take a pay cut and have his contract restructured. Smith probably then said no I'm not... Coughin then probably said, well you can leave then and here we are.

Don't you think if it was Tom, I mean an egregious amount of disrespect, more people would come out and voice a concern, or support Jalen publicly? It would be an easy way out too, especially if you hated it here.

I'm sure Fournette has had his fair share of talking to's from Tom. Why isn't he upset? Why isn't he faking injuries or taking a year off to get out of town? Do you really want to  know what it is? Some players are soft. They think they know better, they think they are above reproach, and when they deal with some accountability, it bothers them.

There's a part of me that thinks this is probably what happened (weren't there rumors in the off-season that they were trying to restructure Telvin's contract?) but there's another part of me that thinks that Telvin is just off-his-rocker, in general...

Telvin got a huge signing bonus just last year, so the Jags are not going to give him a pay raise.  In fact, if he doesn't come back next year they will probably try to recoup the signing bonus and almost certainly would get it back.

What is comical is people on a message board, or anywhere for that matter. Making assumptions and/or telling somebody about how THEIR own body feels. Who are you, or anybody else to say how Jalen's back does, or doesn't feel? You, nor I, nor anybody but Jalen himself truly knows how his back feels. It's nothing but pure stupidity to tell somebody else how THEIR body is, or isn't feeling.

None of us have a single clue if Jalen's back is really hurting him or not. Back injuries are very tricky. Maybe he's milking it some, maybe he isn't, but just stop with the faking injury [BLEEP]. The fact of the matter is that none of us having a single clue about it and should stop acting/assuming like we do.

Meanwhile all you post are anti-Coughlin conspiracy theories, but you're totally in the level.

Not sure if this is news worthy, or even worth it's own thread. Just found it pretty interesting, especially the caption.

Can't see the pic, what does it say?

I said from the start that bringing Coughlin back would be a terrible decision and all signs continue to point too that being correct. A whole lot of bad decisions have been made since hes been back. Not really any conspiracy theories going on there.
