Wins the rest of the year
|
Jags have to find a way to beat bengals on sunday. they need to beat the winless bengals. if they lose to 0-6 bengals jags won't win another game this season, and will end up with only four wins cause 2 teams break down, and give the game to jags. a lose to bengals jags won't ever win a game again this season themselves.

Lol [BLEEP] is this youtuber-outro BS? And why would I be mad? We lost to the McCaffrey Panthers, Breesless Saints, the Texans and KC. We squeaked by the Broncos with Flacco (!!!) at QB and beat the terrible looking Tacks. On what basis do people think we will win at least 6-9 more games? If things go really well, maybe we win 6 (big if), if they dont, we wont even make it to .500. Impossible to predict how this will go, and the only game where we are the all-around better team is against the Bengals. There is no basis to predict us to be clear winners in any other games. In other words: its a toss up, which is exactly what I said. I even blamed it on the coaching, but I guess you were waiting to post your little "rap nation" video somewhere, huh? Yes, I meant without Brees, thanks. After the Titans game people on this board were talking about how we have a good chance to win out before facing the Texans again. Same thing after the Denver game. Only a few voiced their concern about the Panthers, and around that time people also assumed we would be favorites against the Saints without Brees. We also only won by 2 points to a then win and sack-less Denver team (with Flacco, who burned Herndon btw), and the one score loss to the Saints looks a lot better on paper than it was on the field, we were never even close to being in control of that game and the saints clearly were. So excuse me if I think that just assuming that we will go on to win 6-8 more games is a bit silly and nothing but fans looking through the rose colored glasses. Bottom line is aside from the Bengals game, there are no clear cut Ws we can expect, therefore I stand by what I said before. I’d like to think otherwise but from what I’ve seen so far, I agree with this.
"For sure wins"
Jets Bengals Titans "Possible wins" Raiders Colts 2x Bucs Atlanta Houston For sure loss Chargers(they own us) Honestly if Minshew can just hold it down and get us to 4-5 or 5-4, we have a really solid chance with Foles returning(I think he starts when hes back) to make a run and get to 9-7 and sneak in as the 6th seed. The AFC is really weak this year, 9-7 will likely be all you need this year in our conference. And we lost each of those games by 1 score. I would say that is "winnable" range... Doesn't mean you always win winnable games. Now if it was 41-0, thats a different story, but we lost by 1 score in each game. Just about every game left on the schedule is winnable if we play to our potential. We lost those two games by a score each. The offense didn't show up for one and the defense didn't show up for the other.... and they were still very close. If the O and the D show up for the same game, every game on our schedule is "winnable" imo. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Which is like, the biggest IF ever, bcs our coaching sucks and either Wash has soft coverage-brain farts or Marrone/JDF decide to "run run pass punt" it. Consistency is a skill too, one that we do not have, not the players, and not the coaches. So to presume that "if both show up we can win every game" is like saying "if we score 50 every game, we will win out the rest of the year": a true, but trivial statement, bcs that will most definitely not happen based on how this team has performed in the last few weeks (and years). Thats why I dont care much about predictions and I sure as hell dont share this enthusiastic outlook of us winning 9 games, but hey Id love nothing more than the team proving me wrong on that one... I love the negative attitude with the caveat "hey i'd love to be proven wrong" Playing both sides of the fence is cheap, but it is your right. If we were getting whipped like the KC game every week I'd share your pessimism really. We're so close and you're right a lot of it is on coaching, which I think is easier to fix than say, lacking talent, which we have at key areas on this team (DL, WR, RB, QB)

I dont need to play both sides bcs if you think the jaguars are winning 9 out of 10 remaining games you are living on a different planet. Idk if it is tbh, we haven't had a good HC in ages. |
