You couldn't even give Taven Bryan credit for a single good play on that pick 6 this week because he's not one of your guys. Lol that's a strong bias man. Fournette having a pretty good season? Haven't seen you comment on it whatsoever. Except to point out what he's still bad it. Bias. DJ Hayden one of the best defenders on the field this season? Crickets from you.
If they trade Yannick I will be done until they get rid of this FO. Seems like if you are elite that is the kiss of death.

I've said it multiple times before the season started... I've continued to say it weeks ago, and I'll stay saying it... PAY THE MAN! PAY HIM RIGHT THE [BLEEP] NOW! If this team trades away Ngakoue, then this front office officially needs to be taken out back behind the wood shed and they need to be put down..
You simply have to pay Ngakoue. He loves Jacksonville and wants to play for us. When is the last time you can say that for a star player?

You don’t see Ngakoue saying what other teams he’d rather be on, sending mixed messages, and faking injuries. He’s expressed he wants to play in Jax We show less advertisements to registered users. He's over rated. He's a good player. That's his bracket.
You Gotta Be Able To Run Da' Rock~
Yannick was 3rd in the league in QB hits last season, he's still a high quality player just played through an injury to start the year off.
I think its a no brainer to sign him + he seems to genuinely want to play and stay here from the little we can glean from these situations. Yannick and Josh Allen off the edge for the next 5 years is a really good way to keep the defense competitive year in year out. We show less advertisements to registered users. Good. Keep him off the block and at the negotiation table. Pay the man.

I would say, "Try to get the man to accept a reasonable contract." "Pay the man" sounds like "Pay him whatever he wants." <No (10-22-2019, 08:22 PM)Eric1 Wrote:(10-22-2019, 02:12 PM)Upper Wrote: I'm not backpedaling anything. It's not as simple as just "pay him." It sounds like you would just ask him what he wants, and give it to him. I agree they should sign him but you can't pay him like, say, a franchise QB. We don't really know what the offer was in the off-season but he (or his agent) decided it wasn't good enough. At least the reported offer sounds like the team was willing to spend big money on him. I hope they can get it worked out at some point.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

What do you determine franchise QB cost to be? Deal should be anywhere from 18-21 million which is fine by me. Yeah it's hard to tell. Yannicks agent is pretty good at getting big deals for his clients, but whatever was offered it was bad enough that Yannick chose to play a full season on the cheap. I still think it's get done for the simple reason that it seems like Yannick really wants to be here and the Jags staff and organisation seem to have a good amount of respect for him. I don't get the vibe there is a contentious relationship there |
