As it stands, we're gonna see more Taven Bryan, more Abry Jones and more of Campbell at DT. (which also means more Smoot at DE)

The outlier possibility is Dontavious Russell getting a few spell snaps to keep the other guys from getting totally gassed.

Stopping Bell just got harder.

We should re-sign Datone Jones if one of these freshly signed LBs looks especially out of shape -- Use that roster spot for Jones.

There went what remained of our run D. Couple this with the hits at LB and I’m sure Bell is licking his chops.

I’m guessing Arby will get an uptick in snaps and Russell will now get his fair share of 1st and 2nd down plays.

I’d be hesitant on putting too much on Taven’s shoulders as is seems he is just now starting to get it and wouldn’t want to overwhelm him. I’m guessing they will probably not want to add to Campbell work load as well if at all possible so who knows?

I'm still confused as to why he was cut. I thought he played pretty well.

Because of Smoot.

And his preseason play has carried over to the regular season.

Campbell inside with Bryan? Could be a good combination.

I like Smoot. He's improved a lot. Hopefully Allen is active around that area too.

The added weight has made a ton of difference. I remember seeing him in the preseason and thinking he'd be perfect at DT. He just looks stronger.

He really just got back to his normal weight after dropping 16 pounds in 2018.

He also did extensive offseason work on hands technique and reaction speed including work with a jiu jitsu trainer in the spring and summer.

Whatever he did, he looks like a whole different player.

Agree with you guys. Dareus is a big loss, big chance for Taven. Abry Jones looked okay a few games back and I like Jones, he can play.

Between Yannick, Allen, Campbell, Taven, Smoot and Jones we should be able to rotate and still have an effect.

Bell is a fantastic RB, great vision and patience, LB's are going to have to play well and smart.

Agreed they should bring him back. Solid depth who can play inside and outside.
