I guess you did not read the part that says he should be a 3-4 DE in the NFL.

Can you say that in simple English? I know there are 3 or 4 players on the defensive line and we are talking about an end, not a tackle.

Yeah the article say he would be a 3-4 de which translates to the 4-3 left de in our scheme which is also known as the 5 technique the position Alualu plays. The 3 tech is the 4-3 dt that penetrates the backfield which is played by Marks. The 1 tech is the 4-3 dt that usually stops the run but also pushes the pocket which is played by Miller. The other de position is the Leo or wide 9 technique played by babin

So if the Jaguars pick him, he would be the backup left end?

Because the article says he is better suited in the 3-4, I don't think he will be a Jaguar.

He used to play on the offensive line, then both lines, so there is not a lot of tape on him as a defensive end.

If he can get Alualu out then im all for it. Watt may be labeled a 3-4 end but I'd take him any day on our team at any position

Yeah most likely he's versatile enough to play the dt positions too has good height to bat passes but he's playing against d2 or d3 schools so don't know if the power or speed translates prolly go undrafted

He got a scholarship from Massachusetts when it was in the FCS. I read in one article Galludet was barred from recruiting him in high school because the coach thought he has the ability to play in D1. However he played on the offensive line there, so statistics might not help very much.

Quote:Gallaudet actually had tried to recruit Talaat during his high school days but his high school coach wouldn't allow the Gallaudet coaches in to talk with Adham because the high school coach said that Adham was a Division I kid.

His efforts have been a revelation to the Gallaudet program. He's often played both ways, and in the final game of the 2012 season, he played 122 snaps, doubling up at offensive guard and as a 5-technique on the D-line.

Can he throw?

What kind of question is that? He is a lineman, not a quarterback.
