Week 17
|
In the last 5 weeks Breshad Perriman is averaging over 100yrds a game. Crazy, this is what Bal expected out of him when they drafted him in the 1st. Injuries slowed him down early in his career but he finally looks healthy

I'll bring some thoughts over here that I mentioned in the Game Day thread.
It's interesting to see the Packers down to the Lions when they have #1 overall seed for the NFC and a first round bye on the Line. The Lions came out playing fast and with a lot of energy early in that game. I enjoyed watching David Blough catch a TD pass. The Patriots are also going toe to toe with the Dolphins who continue to play very hard and stay competitive. The Dolphins have turned into the most competitive bad team in the league, lol. Also, Will Grier had a pretty rough day in the Panthers game. He ended up with very little yardage and was getting beat up, and had to leave the game with an injury. Though, he's still young and it's only like his second game starting and I think there could definitely be room for improvement with him. Teddy Bridgewater just needs to throw 1 TD pass to get $250,000 incentive and with the Saints being up big, they should put him in and let him try and get that IMO. They wouldn't have been in as strong of a position as they are in (including also being in contention for the #1 overall seed in the NFC) if he hadn't helped lead them to 5-0 with him as QB after Drew went down.
Vic Ketchman is all up in Aaron Rodger's jock strap and believes he's going to lead the Packers to the promised land. The truth is, the Packers can be a little flaky sometimes and it shows against the Lions.

They really struggled early on this season and had some really ugly losses/ big blowouts. But they steadied things a bit and ended up being very competitive in a lot of their games this season including this one. I am glad they beat the Patriots and prevented them from getting another first round bye. I think the other playoff teams in the NFL are happy as well with this result.
