If Clowney and Bridgewater Are Both There at #3........

Quote:those ratings are pretty much made a draft day, you know that?
They rate them through out the whole season.  Those were probably right before the draft though.  99 is as high as it goes lets see what grade they give Teddy right before draft day.

Quote:Wow, I think all you need to do is look at the WR list on there to tell you all you need to know about the relevance of Scouts Inc. grades.
  Whats wrong with it?

Don't get me wrong though, interms of a pure raw prospect, Rodgers is better than Bridgewater

Pro day will be HUGE

Quote:If Dave thinks Teddy is a franchise QB prospect then he will be the pick, obviously. It's not a contest in that case, Clowney could be the guaranteed second coming of Reggie White, but if Dave thinks Teddy can be a legit franchise QB you take him every time.

I don't think it's that simple. Some have wishfully compared Teddy to Matt Hasselback, and you're comparing Clowney to Reggie White. In that scenario, I think you take Reggie White every time. One became a Hall of Famer who put fear in offensive coordinators, the other was a better-than-average QB when healthy.

More like Joe Montana to Reggie White if you want to have the hyperbolic comparisons going

Not in his eyes, he takes Matt Hasselback over Reggie White. I cant believe I just wrote that, lol

Then those people don't think Teddy is a legit franchise QB prospect...which is fine. If Dave agrees that is what Teddy's likely outcome is then I expect he would take Clowney.

I can't believe you just wrote that either, because I never hinted at that...as the guy said Hasselbeck was sometimes a little better than average. Not a franchise QB, and definitely not even close to a franchise QB prospect during his draft year.

The fact that Bridgewater is being compared to Hasselback and Clowney is to Reggie White means this conversation has ran off the cliff

Well lets get it back on the right track...

Teddy is the next Brady/Montana/Elway.

If we draft Teddy I will buy a Bridgewater jersey.  I hope it says Clowney on the back though.

Trade all next year's draft and the rest of this year's to get number two.

Teddy at 2, Clowney at three.

Make it happen Caldwell.
