Any good FA CBs?

It's frustrating. They've just added holes to back fill that were pretty solid just two years ago.

Josh Allen replaces Yannick Ngakoue
Taven Bryan "replaced" Malik Jackson
Ronnie Harrison replaced Brandon Church
Jerod Wilson "replaced" Teshaun Gipson

Now you're entering this draft with Ramsey and Bouye no longer on the roster. It's an entirely new defense all within two years? That's PISS POOR MANAGEMENT from TOP DOWN. Unbelievable.

You can't get ahead by operating this way. Now instead of being able to focus on improving the offense to ensure your 2nd year signal caller is prepared and set up to have success with a new offensive coordinator.

You decided to double down on your [BLEEP] box defense from last year by NOT replacing Todd Wash and by HOPING you can land some decent free agents or rookies to plug in to work within Wash's [BLEEP] box scheme again.

The problem isn't the players at this point. It's the damn management and coaching staff. [BLEEP] I hate Khan!

I can't say that I blame him. Wash's scheme sucks. Why would anyone want to play for him? Kudos to Campbell for being the most humble guy in the world. This coaching staff is complete trash.

Bradberry is a guy who might make sense, but he'll probably cost as much as Bouye and only be a year younger.

Allen on 1 side and campbell on the other.

The team planned to release Bouyee regardless of whether they got a trade deal or not.  This wasn’t a maneuver to create space to give Yan a new deal. I think they’ll tag him, try to work out a new deal, and if that fails, they’ll add another premium pick on a draft where they have 10 picks already.

Now we have to go all defense in the draft, for a Defensive Coordinator who will run the defense into the ground, eventually causing our draft picks to disperse to other teams. I would call this a tank, but it seems like par for the course.

Last year, I said we would begin a rebuild if we traded Ramsey.  I was told by people I was overreacting.

I wonder if they continue to think I overreacted.

Agreed. He regressed last year so it’s a close call.  But, so did the rest of the team.

My only hope now is that they're thinking they can go offense early in the draft and then patch some holes on defense in the later rounds and through free agency. But by having this many holes in one off season with a lot of ineffectiveness from last year's team (primarily on defense) they have to focus most of their efforts on one side of the football.

Go all in on offense. Maybe see if they can get a good gameplan approach out of Gruden to start actually playing with a lead in games and then maybe Wash can figure out a defensive scheme with less guess work involved. I have no faith in him. As every year we kept hearing grumblings from the lockeroom that they simply DID NOT like the way they were being utilized defensively, i.e zone defense on 3rd and [BLEEP] inches, etc.

The primary goal should be protecting Minshew and elevating Minshew this off season. Finding players that can support him in Gruden's approach to the game. Get him comfortable along with the offense, etc. That would be my goal at this point. But boy will it be a real pisser if they go into this draft next month essentially back filling DE & CB with the 9th and 20th overall selections.

Just trade down at that point and get some more picks to rebuild.

Imagine what a real GM could do with our draft capital.

Instead we are stuck with Dave and Wrestler Tony making the picks.

Getting a 4th for a guy you were likely going to cut is some pretty good horse trading, Hope we get good value for Yannick.

For these past 3 years we have gotten rid of everyone that made us good instead getting rid of Caldwell and Marrone. Makes no sense to allow the gm all these years but get rid of every else. I hope we trade or release Dave and Marrone while we letting everyone else go.

For a guy who got what he wanted then was responsible for being on the wrong side of a game winning play to officially eliminate his team from the playoffs, this clown still holds a lot of animosity for his old team.

16 second mark. 3rd and 16. Burnt toast.

Why can't people recognize that basically the entire defense had career years in 2017. Only a handful of guys come close to matching the production of that year. Sure, the offense has put the defense at a disadvantage since then, but defense-led teams ALWAYS have short windows.

Not only that, didn't most the board expect Bouye to be let go? Especially if they were going to keep Calais and franchise Yan? There was really no other option cap-wise.

The draft was always going to be nearly all defense. And, Tre Herndon was not bad as 2nd CB who was starting for 1st season.

This is crazy. We have let go of all the players that made us goos instead getting rid of the FO. Hopefully we hear that Caldwell and Marrone have been traded or released in the next few days

Yea I don't get why everyone is so upset.  He was a huge cap savings so he was gonna get cut.  There was zero chance we were bringing him back next year.  And instead of releasing him for nothing, we get a 4th round pick out of it.
