Funny how every thread is now getting derailed into a Teddy thread...

What you say about Bridgewater is true. You're right. He does have a smaller frame, and he can work on his long distance touch and accuracy. But, to say those things make him not worthy of a #1 pick is extremely dumb.

Looks like a sack safety relating to an inability to read the obvious blitz peril in pre-snap.

I'll can live with 1 terrible play like that if he throws for over 400 with 3 TDs and no picks, who wouldn't?

Only because it's not your opinion.

I don't believe any of these QBs are worthy of the #1 pick.  I've said before it's my opinion they probably fall just outside the top 10.  That no silly "prediction," just my opinion.

Don't assume that just because you've fallen in love with a QB means that everyone else will fall in line behind you.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">Or as one GM put it: “I’m telling you right now, don’t be surprised if those guys start to fall. It’s just like last year at this time when we all thought Geno Smith was going No. 1 overall and then he dropped. I think there’s a real chance to see that.”

I've said this for a while now, and been mocked for it, and I'll keep that opinion until one of these guys shows me different in the NFL.  I'm certainly not going to blindly follow others' opinion like some have been quick to do.

Are we done with this, and can we get back to Aaron Rodgers?

Did you watch the rest of that game?

If UM is "nfl speed" then he absolutely proved that he is a really good QB.

Quote:Well, I guess you have to wonder if the posket presence is fixable. It certainly doesn't appear to be with Gabbert. But Carr might be different. But remember the same reason Rodgers got drafted late are there for Carr. Namely that Tedford coached up some not good NFL QB's like Boller, David Carr, Aliki Smith, Trent Dilfer, and Joey Harrington. There is no doubt that Tedford is a good QB coach, but he can make some bad players look good. So if we are crafting Carr based on Tedford, I would be wary...

Tedford helped coach Carr for "a few days" after the season. Not sure that amounts to much of anything regarding Carr's coaching lineage.
