Actually the undrafted free agent or 7th rounder is more important if they stay off the injury list.

My fondest memories were when he'd make a nice catch then negate it by getting idiotic excessive celebration penalties.

Maybe he can go back home to LA and join the Rams in a backup role.

Nope.

Reggie did dance a bit but I don't recall being penalized for it, Lee was.

Reggie always danced.  Reggie would literally make a 3 yard catch and perform like he was on soul train.

In all seriousness i do think lee can be a productive receiver somewhere. If a team gets him on the cheap. If he was a player onanother team and released i bet half of you would be saying get that guy. He is a tyler eifert as a wr.

Why would they do that? Just take the total salary cap hit this year, it's not like they were going to use it and he's totally off the books next year.

You don't have to physically wait until 6/1 to cut the player, you can designate them a post 6/1 cut but cut them anytime. The NFLPA agreed to that so older players had more time to find a team instead of waiting until after the draft.

....while the team was down 15.

Sadly, I think Lee's biggest plays may have been blocks.
