Maybe we can trade up with Atlanta or Dallas. I want Jeudy. Atlanta had two guys many have mocked to them (Kinlaw and Henderson) come off the board. If somehow Denver takes Lamb, I will be thrilled. But of course, that's too much to hope for. Now I don't want to trade up. Maybe we can trade back for a team wanting Love.

I am really disappointed. I don't want Minshew to be ruined by running from the pass rush. The kid can make things happen, but he needs to have time to grow. I would have preferred Wills or Wirfs. This has been my single greatest gripe with Dave. I think he drafts pretty well, but he neglects the o-line. O'line's win championships.

The Jaguars play nickel about two thirds of the time. That means the third linebacker is only on the field about a third of the time. As such, you really need two good linebackers. Although Myles Jack struggled last year, I think that's because he was playing MLB. He's being moved to WLB which I think is his natural position. He only didn't play there in the past because we had Telvin Smith who is now gone. As for the second linebacker, we signed Joe Schobert to a big free agent contract. There's no need for an early pick at that position.

I consider Leon Jacobs the third linebacker at SLB. I believe Quincy Williams will be the backup at WLB. I do consider Jacobs average at best. However, again, it's a part time position. As such, I would consider a mid round pick on it if value is there, but I wouldn't draft one early. Our early picks need to be every down players. I do agree with those that think we may take one or more late round picks for depth at linebacker. Outsider of maybe Williams, our depth is lacking.

Presumably, in 4 man fronts he will play with his hand on the ground at RDE, and with our seemingly expanding odd alignments, he will be a stand up Will, moving Jack inside.

I was happier with Henderson than I would have been with overdrafting a WR. I have a feeling there was a ginormous gap from Henderson to their #3 CB on the board, and if Dave was speaking truthfully that he sees the line as a strength, the OL on the board likely weren't rated as high when considering the intersection of talent, need, and value. Unless they disclose the offers that were made to move off of 9, I can't say that trading back was favorable.

I agree with this, he was the 3rd guy on my board that was available.  I wanted Kinlaw or Wifs and Henderson was next.  Would rather Henderson over any of the WRs
