I don't understand how this doesn't bother anyone on here it's like we as a fanbase has Stockholm syndrome and we just accept the disrespect the NFL gives us on a daily basis.

Of course you do.

Would you like to make a wager?

4-1 to 3-2 huh?

2 wins max with 1 win being most likely. Schedule after the BYE is brutal.

Can't wait till Minshew silences the doubters

He got us winning 4 games again the obvious perennial loser franchises. We'll probably split that. 2 and 14 season. We suck.

We're in a tiny media market and have been an absolute clown show for the 10 years. We're deserving of respect when we put together a sustained run of success.

I hope he does dude but you realize this isn’t just about Minshew right? This whole roster isn’t very good or is extremely young.

Hopefully we can be extremely young and extremely good. One thing for certain, this team is going to run through a wall for Minshew. They are going to play inspired football, win, lose or draw.

The reality is the NFL is difficult to predict year to year, but these seems like a moderately difficult schedule from where we sit now. Obviously, winning early to build some confidence and momentum will be key for a young team. After this past decade, I understand the pessimism, but if Yannick plays and Allen progresses (he will), we could have an elite pass rush on defense with a highly solidified linebacker core. Losing Bouye hurts (I would have held onto him), but he wasn’t really a difference maker last year. Couple that with all the new red zone targets minshew has to work with and a RB in his final year of contract, and I think we may see more out of this team than most expect. That said, I’m a hopeless optimist.

I agree with this I’m dumbfounded at why everyone thinks we are gonna be so bad and way worse than last year makes no sense to me. Because we lost an aging and declining bouye and Campbell? Well how about that we added Schobert, henderson, Chaisson, laviska, Eifert, and allot of run stuffers up front. Also some underrated role players like Thompson. Then add in the progression of minshew in his second season plus Allen and Taylor. Not sure why this team looks so much worse than a team that should have won 7 or 8 games if trash Nick foles didn’t start 4 of them

There is only a 2 week home stretch once. Every other game is a travel back and forth.

So has the Cincinnati Bengals and they got  2 Primetime games because of Joe freaking Burrow  like anybody cares about him.

I remember a Thursday night game against the Titans a couple of years ago that was so horrible and humiliating I would just as soon never play another nationally televised game.

It's the clown show part. If the Jaguars had drafted Mahomes and were in the beginning of a 15 year run of dominance we'd be getting 4 or 5 primetime games a year. The Jaguars don't get primetime games because we're the equivalent of the Browns for the last few decades. Only the team's hardcore fans are interested in seeing such sub par football and only because of our emotional attachment to the team.

Despite the lack of playoff wins the bengals have been significantly better than the Jags this decade and people would rather watch the #1 overall pick (after one of the best college seasons ever) play
Take off the teal glasses. No Jags fan can cry about not getting prime time games after the product we have delivered year in year out

Thank you!

No one cares about the Jags because they haven’t been good for 10 years.
