According to John Shipley on Twitter, Timmy will be replaced by UDFA Doug Costin. Doug Marrone said that Costin will join the rotation today and has flexibility. He said that Costin had a really good camp but is relatively unknown due to being inactive the first three games. Here's hoping Doug plays well. The Jags have been hitting on late/undrafted draft picks lately.
https://twitter.com/_John_Shipley/status...6018895873 Timmy has also just been signed by the Broncos: https://twitter.com/MikeKlis/status/1311318709932261379

Meaning if a vested player gets cut after being on a Week 1 roster, that team owes him his money for the rest of that season regardless of whether or not he goes and signs with another team. Because that rarely happens, I am assuming Jernigan will choose that option and double his cash this year. If the Broncos cut him, they would only owe him for games played in Denver because they signed him after Week 1.
This is a results-oriented business. There are no trophies or titles given for "moral victories" or for "winning the draft". Our record with DC is 37-86. 6-10 is our 2nd best season in 8 years of Caldwell leadership. These are the FACTS.

He said he wasn't making any changes within the organization near the end of 2019, then fired Coughlin a short time later with 2 years left on his deal. His contract was for the same length of time as Morrone and Caldwell. The real question is, do you actually let Caldwell have another draft with multiple first round picks on a lame duck contract in 2021? No way. You either extend him (which would be RIDICULOUS, based on performance) or fire him and hand the keys over to the next regime. Without any progress this season, it should be a clear and simple choice.

Let the Doug Costin era begin!
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Reminds me of a little of Warren Sapp the way he's able to both, stop the run and also get to the QB on pass plays. The Bengals only have 2 days to prepare for this beast. I wouldn't doubt Burrow comes down with some flu-like symptoms just to get out of this game. Yeah I know, I'm late. NH3...
