Where is it? I certainly haven't seen it. I just see the same old bland, vanilla scheme that Wash always runs and doesn't work. I think all the 3-4 talk by the team was just a bluff.

I think any talk from the team is a bluff, delay or excuse.  But that is just all of the results including what happens with our win column.  I'm really craving more crow but the team hasn't served me any since week 1.

They are not playing a 3-4.  Chaisson has his hands in the dirt most of the time.

So, they were going to release him anyways? Waste of a pick no matter the round. Jags keep doing Jags things. Wake me up when Dave and Co are gone.

Not really, if he's released he can go anywhere. If they want him, trading ensures he comes here.

Whether that is a smart move for that particular player is another question.

Little did we know that Week 1 would be The Last Supper.

What did we get for Calais, a 5th? Imagine if that is what we traded away.

We almost got one over on the Ravens. Apparently in 2016, we traded with the Ravens to move up in the 2nd round (giving up our 5th round pick). We selected Myles Jack and they selected Correa. Sounds like a great deal !!! However, the Ravens used our 5th round pick to select Pro Bowl OLB Matthew Judon --- we probably would have selected a punter or something there anyway Sad

I heard they were going to release him. Should have saved pick (no matter what round) and waited.

And the chances of him picking the Jags to play for as a free agent would have been slim to none. We got him and a pick back in return..

In fairness, I think Woods dropping out killed a lot of that because he was the real NT body. It's hard to play that look without a wide body in the center and the others dont really fit the template. Of course it might just be that Wash sucks.

I wish Correa nothing but success now that he is a member of the team. I saw him flying around and making plays last year for the Titans and think that he is an upgrade over Leon Jacobs.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.
