It all depends on what your idea of rich is. If you live where I do and can afford to stay in a Disney Resort, you are at the very least, very well off.

They have economy Disney resorts that are cheaper than. A Hampton Inn.

Not to sound rude or anything, but where do you live?

A two hour drive and $120 for the room. I'm a High Roller.

For me it would include a round trip airplane ticket and there is no way I could afford to stay in a $120 a night hotel. I haven't been able to take a vacation in the last 4 years. The last time I did, we went to Wisconsin Dells, which was like a 9 hour car ride and we stayed in a Red Roof Inn. I spent the next 15 months paying off that trip, but it was really nice. I wish I could do it again, but it's not in the cards right now or anytime soon for that matter. My central air unit broke down back in August and I had to take out a loan to replace it, so I gotta pay that off before I can even think of saving for another vacation. I just wanna take a break from Ohio winters.

I know a lot of parents here in Ohio that refuse to send their kids to school given the current pandemic. They are continuing the remote learning via home computers. Not everyone wants their kids going back to school under the current state of things.

There are parents in NC who want and need their kids to go back to school because they don't have the resources to do virtual learning. It's fine if people have a choice. It's when they don't is when it becomes a problem. It's nice your state has options. Not all do.

Really? I thought they were all like really fancy hotels inside the park. I did not know that, but I've only been to Disney once and that was like 15 years ago. We stayed off site at a Red Roof Inn.

I live in a very rural part of southwestern Ohio, almost on the Indiana border.

Not at all. Check out pop century and art of animation. Even have a skyliner station there to get you to epcot and MGM.

I will say, Governor DeWine has handled the pandemic about as well as we can hope. He's really impressed me so far.

If Biden wins and NC dictator Cooper wins, Cooper will keep us in eternal lockdown because he'll just point to Biden, who has already said he'd shut the country down again to contain covid, and say, "if its good enough for POTUS its good enough for me." We've been in a form of lockdown since the third week in March

People aren't mad that Trump did or didn't make the absolute right choices, they're mad because they've lost their jobs thanks to a democrat governor. If Trump can improve the situation then people will vote for him.

I spent ~ 6 weeks in the suburbs of Pittsburgh over the past 5 months and your points above are very critical factors within that population as well.  Gov Wolf was one of the last to reopen and even at that, gyms, salons, etc were still prohibited from opening.  There is a lot of pissed off people in PA that see other fellow small business owners in states like Florida reopening at 100% capacity whereas there are severe restrictions still being mandated in their state to the point Gov Wolf is reconsidering another lockdown.

If Biden loses a decent portion of the Dem vote, I think this is one of the key factors that have independent and left-center Dems voting for Trump.  If I were Biden, I would be discouraging lockdowns; provided, the population takes the necessary measures of wearing a mask while in the general public.

Yep, people are pissed off here. I just hope more are angry than compliant in both the governor and POTUS positions. I shudder to think what will happen here if dems win both.

Aside from the other issues, 120 on a room is on the cheaper side down here. To stay in a nice place, seems like it is closer to 2-300.  But the rona May have run those prices down.   Maybe because it’s touristy, idk.  But sounds like you’ve been working hard.  Hope you can get the fam out for a getaway soon.  Maybe a staycation or a weekend getaway nearby if nothing wlse

I honestly don't get that one. I really liked McGrath and Mitch McConnell is straight up, Satan. I guess there were more inbred, toothless, uneducated, hillbillies in Kentucky than I thought.

Yeah, until I get the loan paid off everything is delayed though. I am in the process of re-financing the house since the mortgage rates are so low. That will help a little. I'm lowering my interest rate by almost a full 2%.

I don't like McConnell and if I lived there I would vote for a challenger in the primary, but can't vote for a dem or 3rd party because it gives dems a vote.

If you put a gun to my head, I would even vote for Trump over McConnell. I'd even vote for Kanye West over McConnell. If Charles Manson were still alive and ran against McConnell, I'd vote for Manson. That man has NO redeeming qualities what so ever.
