Haha, awesomeness again!  I was originally joking with the "avi as selfie" statement, but I'm liking this now....  LET'S KEEP IT GOING YOU GAYS!

 

And I was just outside smoking a cig, when what appeared to be a guinea pig/large mouse with wings flew down from the dark sky onto the side of a tree; then it scurried up the tree like a squirrel.  Flying squirrels glide, right?  They don't have flapping wings during flight?  Well, there was no big bushy tail either/anyway....  So what the hell did I just see?

Haha, I'd actually thought about adding "and no psilocybin/lsd was involved in the making of this post."  I'm actually very (kind of) sober, at the moment.  I can only imagine the sort of astonishment I'd have felt if I were tripping; but then, most things are rather astonishing in that instance.

 

I'm going to be pondering this for a while, though; I can already tell.

eta, if this helps anyone figure out what the hell I was looking at (it won't), it looked like a chubby gray lizard or something after it had scurried up the tree and out onto the branch; perhaps it's simply time for me to get (back) on some antipsychotics.  The more I think about it, the more I feel like an imbecile describing it.

That part sounds like an opossum.   Doesn't explain the flight though.  Could that (flying) part have been part optical illusion in the waning light?  Maybe just a leap from one tree to another?

So last night I chilled with a pretty cool chick I'd just met for a while, and when the night was over, before we parted ways (at roughly three in the morning), I asked her what she thought of me; to which she replied, "well, you talk like you're insane, you look like a prettyboy, and you dress and act like a thug." The only part I don't get is "prettyboy." I guess that just means speed doesn't wear nearly as hard on the face as some may be led to believe, hahaaaaa. Anyway, I have yet to discern whether it was intended as a compliment or not.


Also, why isn't there a thread for posting pictures of yourself? I mean I am by no means vain/narcissistic, but I've been curious about what a majority of you fine gents look like for literally MINUTES now. Someone get on that. Or don't. Either way.

So, my sons been sick since the end of last week...flu like stuff. Then a rash showed up on his hands two days ago...not itchy, but a little painful. He thought he must have touched something this past weekend when he and Mr Bunny went on a weekend fishing trip. He went to one of those minute clinics yesterday and they gave him some prednisone and sent him on his way. Being the over cautious mother that I am, I made him go to a dermatologist today just to be sure of what's going on...turns out my child has Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever!!! :blink:

He's a pre med Biology major at UF and last week in one of his classes they went out traipsing through the wetlands collecting samples of stuff and I just he got bit by a tick out there!! He has to stay on the steroids, got a big whooping shot in the [BLEEP] with some meds and be on antibiotics for god knows how long now!!!
