I was thinking the same thing. Trump proved that a Republican candidate doesn't have to play by the MSM/dem rules to get elected. The question is, who has the chops? It will have to be someone who emerges in the next couple of years and is not an entrenched politician.

I agree.  The problem is you need to be an extremist to win the nomination with the base, but you have to be moderate to have a chance at winning the presidency.  Or you will ignite the left to show up at the polls again in droves.  You want to distance yourself from the Trump brand in 2024... but can you win the nomination with the base doing that?  It will require a balanced and thoughtful approach... but it will be an opportunity.

I think the non-politician direction could get you the GOP nomination, but the smell of Trump on a candidate like that will lose you the presidential election.

#2.  You don't understand international trade deals.  Trump fixed nothing and hurt American businesses and consumers with the tariffs he imposed.  Who do you think paid for those?

#3.  Just put your damn mask on in public.  Its not about you; its about being a respectful citizen to prevent spread and protect the vulnerable.
