His critics might talk all the time about his size and playing style being a bad combination for medical reasons but what I see here is a guy saying he is more likely to get a first down than a pocket passer like Teddy Bridgewater because of his ability to extend the play. The part about Clowney gave me another idea: Mobility can help players stay healthy sometimes because it means taking fewer sacks and knockdowns. But is he helping himself by saying he is only one inch taller than 5-11 Wilson?

I do notice that, numerous people pointed out the missed reads and route concepts

I guess the Texas A & M playbook was out for public consumption and I missed it or something? Tell me, those of you who read it, why do you think the coaches at A & M were so obstinate about putting in "Scramble" into the playbook? I mean, they had a once in a lifetime type of college QB talent on their hands. Seems kind of crazy that they wouldn't want to take advantage of his scrambling abilities.

They often say that running QBs will actually take more sacks than many of the immobile QBs. Although I guess where a running QB will attempt to scramble but then get taken down for a sack, an immobile QB will end up just throwing the ball away.  So do you want a guy who takes the yardage loss or just deflates his completion percentage?  And whatever benefit you get from the scrambler who is able to make a play, does that outweigh the negative's from the extra sacks?

Russell Wilson was an exception because most NFL quarterbacks are just pocket passers. Do you know for a fact that even if the NFL had a lot of dual threat quarterbacks only immobile passers such as Peyton Manning could win Supier Bowls?

Manziel's height is not my biggest concern with him, its the fact hat he likes to run around and then just chuck it up for grabs. Those antics wont work in the NFL.
