Top 3 greatest areas of need for the new GM to address right away.

I like him slightly more than Lawrence. The kid checks all the boxes for arm strength, accuracy, quick release, mobility and poise under pressure. I watched him not expecting much and I was blown away how good this kid is. He's miles better than Fields.Wilson also makes a lot of odd arm angle throws that look like a shortstop. I love it. Big game coming up against Coastal Carolina. Should be a great test. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
1.-QB
2.-O-line I can't believe there are still people saying "O-line is fine". I want to protect our rookie QB. 3.-TE Also, a true #2 RB, what the hell are we gonna do if Robinson goes down? Everything to help our rookie QB. I am not saying spend the first 3 picks in those positions but those are the areas we need to focus imo. I am a fan, not a cheerleader.
We won't know who Wilson is until he plays a quality opponent. I see concerning throws sometimes but he does look good.
Fields is great also imo.

The only decent defense he has faced. Last year when he played Clemson he had 2 picks. 5 picks in those 2 games alone. I hope our GM doesn't let the mocks influence him on which QB he picks. I honestly think mocks have influenced some GMs in the past.
That's because if they take whoever mocks think they should take then it won't be a controversial pick. If the pick is just a guy or worse then at least they took the safe choice. Nobody wants to be known as the guy that tried to be cute and failed.

It definitely wasn't his best game... None of the other 6 or so ranked teams he has played had decent defenses? Those Defenses were just 1A high school level in his eyes ![]()
I'm thinking if Lawrence is gone, it will be Wilson.
Have to stop allowing media to play GM.
I have to say, Haskins Does scare me about Ohio State a little bit. However, it seems like That Fields is the number two prospect, with a lot of talent. What would you give up to jump from 2 to 1 for Lawrence? I would personally give up our second first round pick or next year‘s first round pick, and maybe even throw in a fifth rounder if necessary. I would not give up more than that though. A lot of people came up with excuses of why Deshaun Watson would not work out in NFL, and look how that worked out. There’s always going to be some knock on these guys coming out of college for the most part.

I would be ecstatic to have someone with his arm talent and mobility. 17 of 24 for 199. No thanks He isn't worth the 2nd pick in the draft. Maybe for someone of Dave Caldwell but i hope we can do better.
Urban Meyer screws up his QBs. Alex Smith is the only meyer product with even a hint of success and he has had to unlearn so many bad habits. Fields will need at least two years of fantastic coaching to counteract his two years with meyer. Fields is a no from me. A hard no.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Meyer hasn't been the HC for Ohio State in over 2 years now, Ryan Day has. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Does the QB ever drop back? Does he ever have to make more than one read?
