Who do we take if Bridgewater and Clowney are off the board?

Quote:Caldwell comes from that drafting Julio Jones when the team already has Roddy White regime

Julio Jones had all the elite intangibles. Watkins does not.

Not I don't. I prefer dual threat quarterbacks and am scared to death anyone not as good as the top three guys will not be good enough.

Tell me you are joking. He can still be available at our Ravens 5 pick (5-19).

Increase in ticket revenue. The tarps will be removed from the increase in fan base.  More rainbow colors in the stands.

Not necessarily. He is projected as a pass rushing 3-4 outside linebacker who probably will be picked on the third day. Nobody thinks he can be a three-down player. If you want tarps to come off, your pass rusher's name better be Jadeveon Clowney.

Looks like Brooks doesnt think Bortles would be a good fit here. I wouldnt mind Bortles but only if we trade down, dont want him at 3.

I don't understand why he named the Cowboys and Cardinals, two teams who already have good starting quarterbacks.

Doesn't have the accuracy nor the timing and anticipation to play in our offense

Mike Mayock said this:

Jaguars: Lots of needs

<p style="font-family:arial, verdana, helvetica;color:rgb(34,34,33);">"I'm a believer in Jedd Fisch, the offensive coordinator, and one of the better young coaches. If they do fall in love with one of those quarterbacks, is he available at three? That's the first question. Their second need after quarterback becomes an edge rusher. (Jadeveon) Clowney or (Khalil) Mack to me make a ton of sense.

<p style="font-family:arial, verdana, helvetica;color:rgb(34,34,33);">

<p style="font-family:arial, verdana, helvetica;color:rgb(34,34,33);">"So I think quarterback, edge, and then I don't know what's going to happen with Justin Blackmon coming off suspension. At some point I think they have to deal with the wide receiver issues and then some offensive line depth, especially inside."

<p style="font-family:arial, verdana, helvetica;color:rgb(34,34,33);">

<p style="font-family:arial, verdana, helvetica;color:rgb(34,34,33);">Looks to me like he is in favor of picking Mack or Watkins if Bridgewater and Clowney are gone.

I like Watkins. I'm so back-and-forth on Manziel. Some days, I want him, other times, I don't.

What are the reasons you do want him and the reasons you don't want him? Maybe I can get you off the fence.

 Because Carson Palmer isn't a franchise quarterback and Tony Romo's time as one is almost up.

Compared to some of his predecessors, Carson Palmer is a franchise quarterback. Without him the Cardinals would be horrible.

The way everyone talks about three quarterbacks going in the top 10 makes me think there is no way one of them will fall to #16.

Carson Palmer was a franchise quarterback to the Bengals. He is not a franchise quarterback to the Cardinals.

I mean look at the guys who threw passes before him. Except for Kurt Warner, they all sucked. Carson Palmer is so much better than them he is like a franchise quarterback in Arizona.

I firmly believe that if we can't get Bridgewater we should get Mack

Yes Mack over Clowney

Khalil Mack has no red flags and is actually good enough for the #3 pick. Johnny Manziel is only going to be top 10 pick because half of those teams need a quarterback. The value is not there at #3.
