I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
Quote:So far from the measurements of tightends, Troy Nikolas has everyone by one inch, Eric Ebron... How can he play tightend at only 6'4? The same way all the other 6'4" TEs do, I guess. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Huh? JaguarKick didn't start all the personal and degradation stuff, that was pirkster. JK asked a legitimate question and pirk acted like a condescending [BLEEP] in his reply.
Quote:I personally think 332 is too much.Hahaha kids say the darndest things! Care to elaborate?
I know more about footballs than you bridgewater good
And cause I was a gazillionaire, and I liked doin it so much, I cut that grass for free.
Quote:Huh? JaguarKick didn't start all the personal and degradation stuff, that was pirkster. JK asked a legitimate question and pirk acted like a condescending [BAD WORD REMOVED] in his reply.Okay, let's run through the posts. As I see it, post 24 starts the conversation. There are no quoted posts or unquoted posts between them that are obvious that they are conversing. Do we agree so far? Now, let's take a look at what was said there, as well as what was said prior to that point. All posts by pirkster were specifically offering opinion about the player. Am I missing something where he said something about someone posting about the player? All I see is post 12 where he says, "no, just you." Now if that's what you're referring to, first, he was quoting someone else entirely, so it has zero merit when it comes to this. Second, post 16 begins the personal stuff, but by another poster toward pirkster, so again, it really means nothing here. Yet that is the first bona fide post where the personal stuff begins. Now, on to post 24, which is the first post between the two. JaguarKick didn't refute what pirkster was saying with regard to the player. Instead, he questioned the motive of why pirkster said it to begin with, and did so in a mildly condescending way. It wasn't any big deal, but the fact of the matter is that he changed the subject from the player to the poster. Can we agree over that? It's fairly indisputable. Do things go from there? Maybe a little bit, but the fact of the matter is that JaguarKick made the move from talk about the player to the talk about the poster on post 24. Now all that said, I stand by what I said. If you have something to dispute it, I'm all ears. ![]()

Here are my predictions on the top 3 QB's before the measurements
Name Height Weight Hands Johnny Jaguar 6'0 210 10.25 Teddy Bridgewater 6'1.5 210 8.5 Blake Bortles 6'3.5 230 9.5
A lot of people talk about Manziel’s arm strength negatively, but I don’t see why. He has a very strong arm. From what I’ve seen, in terms of pure arm strength, I’d put him second above Bridgewater
and behind Mariota. He is able to throw the ball for chunks of yardage at a time through the air, and honestly he could probably throw it a whole lot further if he put his weight behind it (he has footwork issues which I’ll address later). One thing I was also pleasantly surprised with was his touch. He knows how to control the arc of the ball pretty well, but it’s not fantastic. I would also put him second in this category, with Mariota at third (Bridgewater is far and away the best touch passer in the country.) Anyway, I digress. He is also, as you can see from the statistics, very accurate. 80% accuracy against the best team in the country isn’t normal. It’s very good.
Quote:You can pull your fingers out of your ears and quit yelling anytime. Well, here's a classic concession statement. Don't fall off your high horse; things might look mighty different once you're on the ground. Quote:You're tripping dude. You started all the degradation and made it personal. And you say HE is the one who can't handle an opposing opinion???..... I implore you to quote anything I said that was either degrading or insulting. Quote:Huh? JaguarKick didn't start all the personal and degradation stuff, that was pirkster. JK asked a legitimate question and pirk acted like a condescending [BAD WORD REMOVED] in his reply. A legitamite question that quite a few others asked, as well. But I guess since I brought up pirkster's comments in another thread, that made it an attack on a poster and not a discussion of the prospect. Don't get it? It's cool; I don't either. Quote:Okay, let's run through the posts. As I see it, post 24 starts the conversation. There are no quoted posts or unquoted posts between them that are obvious that they are conversing. Do we agree so far? So even by your own admission, it wasn't any big deal, but sure as hell seemed like a big enough deal for you to attack me over it and accuse me of beginning the degradation and making it personal. Why is that? Because I called pirkster out on repeatedly downgrading a prospect for no legitamite reason, over such things as decomitting from a program and wearing gloves? That happens all the time on this board! pirkster is repeatedly rude and disrespectful to many members on this board with little or no provocation other than disagreeing with him. I honestly have no idea how he is still a mod, but that's not my call and I'd rather not even go into it. Hell, I even agree with him pretty often. I have no idea how it's wrong for me to call him out for falsely downgrading Bridgewater. I think you'll see that the personal attacks began with him if you go back and read the posts. But whatever. It isn't like it matters. Now, hopefully we can lay this aside and perhaps discuss the topic at hand, hmm? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Here are my predictions on the top 3 QB's before the measurements I think Teddy's hands come in right at 9". Bortles' might be about that, and I feel like you're pretty spot on about Manziel's giant hands. I do feel like Teddy will be 6'2" though. The two biggest concerns of mine about Bridgewater (hand size and frame) will either be put to rest or exacerbated tomorrow.
Quote:Hahaha kids say the darndest things! I'm not a kid. I'm a football fan who heard John Madden explain guys that big can't move as well as smaller offensive linemen.
BTW if we are going to talk about hands, we also need to talk about feet. Tweet from Zac Jackson:
I asked (Browns GM) Ray Farmer what's the first thing he'll ask Johnny Manziel. He replied: "How big are your feet?" |
