Clowney Getting Deserved Exposure?

#21

So how about this dream scenario-  we trade down, draft Mack, and use the extra pick we get in the trade to draft Dee Ford.

Nope. Some people are projecting Ford as a first round pick, so even with that we can miss out on him. We would have to trade with a playoff team.

I've been fond of Mack as soon as I sat down and watched him. I wouldn't be mad at all if they didn't think Bortles or another qb wasn't worth it there and grabbed Mack. I still think Clowney is the better player.

Do you think Mack is worth the #3 pick?

Absolutely. If we didn't have QB issues he'd be easily my favorite pick there if Clowney is gone or doesn't interview well.

If Caldwell agrees, I hope the Rams pick Clowney.

Unfortunately, we will probably never know.  I doubt Caldwell comes out and says that we would not have drafted him anyway even if we had the chance.  Either way it will be "We got the guy we wanted and we as a club are very excited to have him".

It is hard to not get the guy you wanted with the #3 pick.

We shall see.  Bridgewater is still the #1 guy I want.

Clowney in the 1st and Van Noy in the 2nd.  Top 10 D.

Uh no, we need to fix the interior oline.  If anything take Robinson and move him to LG.  Robinson would probably be a pro bowl LG.  We will go D in the 1st though.  Gotta get this D fixed for Gus.

Maybe in the 7th if you don't think he'll come here as a Free Agent.  But Jake Murphy probably isn't worth anything more than that.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

You obviously don't know anything about Jacksonville's offense if you think we need a left tackle.

No he doesn't. He thinks we need a left tackle.

He has T-Rex arms. He's not even the best tackle in his own class anymore.

I disagree with this.  He is the best pass protector.  Robinson is the better run blocker.  Matthews is the better all around tackle IMO and can play both sides.
