Lol, top 15. Thaf would be some serious buyers remorse. Guy literally has no pressure in his face and a college version of Antino Brown.

Smith looks like Jerry Rice, built like him too

Thankfully we don’t have to consider this an option as we get TLAW.

I wouldn’t trade the first pick away for anything.

But had we remained in second, he would have been a great player to settle for.

Fields looking as bad as Lawrence in his last game.

If I'm the Jets I take Smith at 2 and Harris with their other 1st

Lawerence didn't look anywhere near this bad. He had 400 yards and 3 TDs

If he has helped Mac look this good, he can make Darnold look like an all pro.

They need a RB too.  If they got Smith and Harris i think they would surprise some people next year

That and they could be in position to snag Pederson. That could be a hell of turn around for them.

Top of this WR class looks good with Chase, Smith, and Waddle. Saban really needs to take Waddle out this game.

Shouldn't have let Smith play the second half.

This game is a snoozefest. But I’m glad Ohio State is getting the stuffing knocked out of them. They shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Big Grin

The culture around this bama team is impressive. We should grab that Dickerson kid for center, that’s the type of players we need.

I was watching some of the interviews after the game. Fields did not sound like a man who is done with college football. Maybe I'm wrong, but by the way he was talking, he gave me the impression he fully intends to go back to Ohio State next season. That would be a smart move on his part. He has a lot of things to clean up. Who knows? With some extra work maybe he can make a jump like Burrow did in his final season at LSU. Fields just needs to put in the work and improve his decision making.

I agree he has things he can work on.  Although if his offensive line is going to continue to give him all day to throw, I'm not sure how much he'd be able to work on his weaknesses.  It's almost like he'd have to create pressure for himself and then learn how to make plays under pressure.  And maybe avoid throwing to wide open WRs and instead try to throw to guys who are in blanket coverage.  Unless he was going back because he really wanted to finish a particular degree or some academic project he was working on, I don't think it'd be worth the risk.  I don't want to say guaranteed top 5 but I'd feel comfortable saying he is a guaranteed top 10 draft pick.  That is a lot of money to put at risk for no real obvious benefit.  All of those things he needs to work on, he can probably do so in the NFL just the same.

Yea I thought Lawrence looked a lot better as well.  He was under pressure for most of that game.  Admittedly I only watched the first half of last night but I thought Fields had lots of time to throw once again but was just off on a lot of passes.  Assuming they are equal players, I thought Fields had more opportunity in that game last night than Lawrence did in his.  Didn't connect deep.  Overthrew that corner pass in the endzone which should have been a TD.  Had a bad pass into the endzone that should have been picked.

Overall that last drive wasn’t pretty but it got the job done for bama.

Well crap, if I knew the Bobcats were playing I might have tuned in. No wonder Bama won so effortlessly.

I think he can go Top10.

Maybe trade with the Bengals. Smith at 2 would be silly. The number 5 pick looks like the BAWR pick to me.

I'd like Dickerson but he looks to be a late 2nd early third round pick.  Seems a little early for a center unless they're looking to move on from Linder. He might have even moved up as the top center outside of Slater.
