Not only that but Trevor will bring the Clemson fan base with him and Urban the Gator and Buckeye fanbase with him and all 3 fanbases are huge.

The Jags have been a losing culture since Khan purchased the team with that one blip in 2017. I think it's time to tear the whole house down.  I would not be against the Jags releasing or trading the old players in the locker room. We need a complete refresh.

Im confused on what u mean.  Either way, its official like the title says.  We cant do worse than 1 win at least, so if he gets 2 next season at any point,  hes already trending up.

Were apparently on different pages.  I was just trying to thwart your attempts to keep mikesez around.  I’m not 100% on board with Meyer, but am optimistic about it. Also optimistic about he and TL and the future of the team/city/fan base.

Coaching is one thing, but we don't know anything about Meyer's ability to scout and draft NFL talent/manage the salary cap. It's looking like he'll be making most of those decisions, since he'll basically be picking his own GM. The GM will obviously answer to Meyer if he's the one picking him.

Hes not going to be able to simply recruit the best players across the country like he could in College. The NFL is a completely different beast.

I'm talking about drafting those good players. You can't retain good players until you draft them first and that's what I'm talking about. We don't know if he's any good at identifying and drafting NFL talent. 

He could be just like Coughlin for all we know. Great coach, but ultimately runs the team into the ground due to being awful at identifying talent and managing the cap.

Dear Shad, just stuck around a wee bit longer, once we get these crusty guys who wish it was still the 60s outta here, you can modernize this city and team with things like Lot J, controversial players who toot their own horn so they're not overlooked like Fred Taylor, and perhaps a vibrant downtown!

It'll be a challenging sale because crustiness has a way of being passed down, but there are those of us who realize the 60s are gone and never coming back. And like the Army motto, "Always Forward".

All indications point to it being Baalke. Big ole yikers. This tells me Urban has a lot of roster control. This is either going to go extremely well or be a complete dumpster fire, time will tell.
