***The Official NFL Combine Thread***

Quote:No, you need to explain that. You need to explain why you feel like you are entitled to special treatment, but are allowed to dole out insults and terms of denigration to other people. Simply because those people aren't on a message board doesn't mean that societal norms aren't in place.

Again, you aren't special, and you don't deserve the double standard that you are trying to establish for yourself.

He is just a bitter guy.

Quote:Why do I even answer you....

Because I think about things other people don't. With all of the talk about this guy is not a good value at #3 but would be at #5 or whatever I would expect some people to care about whether we pick a player with our assigned fifth round pick (#4) or one of the two we got from trades (#10 and #19).

Would you mind explaining that?

On top of measuring in with 10 inch hands, McCarron has decided that he will in fact throw at the combine.

So he was not going to if his hands were smaller?

His decisionmaking. Also I don't think he is as accurate as Teddy/Johnny. He needs time to develop, he won't start day 1

That has nothing to do with the combine. This is the OFFICIAL COMBINE THREAD.

If he needs "time" to develop you don't pick him at the 3rd overall spot.

Caldwell pretty much said that none of the QBs were as NFL ready as you'd like.  Stating that in the past, you'd be able to find guys who were in pro style offenses for five years, but those guys aren't at the top of this draft.  He gave off the impression any QB they'd bring on he'd rather they sit and learn instead of being expected to start day one.
