Who Starts At Rt The Rest Of This Season?

#1

I've seen Bradfield brought up.

On the other hand the depth chart lists Austin Pasztor as the backup RT.

Pasztor was an all American guard at University of Virginia and brought in as a UDFA last season.

I'd guess Bradfield. I always like him and thought he'd develop into a decent RT. Guess he gets another chance.

I actually thought Pasztor played better at RT in the preseason than Bradfield. But then again, that was with the naked eye and only keying in on that spot for a few plays. It was also against 2nd stringers too so there's that. They're going to be bad regardless though.

It's hard to imagine our O-line playing worse than it has this year already, but it's about to happen.  I'm optimistic that Joeckel will play just as well as Monroe or better considering Monroe wasn't doing so hot this year, but beyond that I have zero expectations for this line.

I'm guessing 2-3 guys end up playing RT for the last 12 games "COMPETING" as Gus would say, for the job.

As part of the Monroe trade, and the move of Joeckel to the left side, the Jaguars have announced that they do not plan to fill the right tackle spot.  Instead, according their statement, the team will only play on the left side of the field.

Low budget -- no travel expenses.  I think it's a good fit.

He wasn't even active last week. I doubt he moves up to starter. But I guess we'll see.

Maybe he should be playing Left Guard instead...

I have wondered the same thing. I mean, he can't be worse than Rackley right?

I don't think so, but I didn't think Monroe was leaving either. I...I...I just don't know anymore.

Bring in a UDFA and a FA. They're plentiful. And most just need a chance. Too bad Caldwell sucks at finding FA gems. His talent evaluating leaves a lot to be desired.
