Blake Bortles could probably be our guy.

Then trade up into the 20s and take Bortles, Carr, or Manziel.
What happens when all 3 of those guys are long gone by 20, or even 10?

I wanted to like Carr but I just can't. Warming up to Manziel.

Matt Scott was never projected to be a first rounder. By anybody.

People liked Matt Scott as a mid/late round sleeper. So there is no comparison here.

We needed a new thread on Bortles because no one posted in the previous one for 20 hours?

There might be a shot we could grab Carr in round 2 if we go DE first.

Another mock with us taking Bortles.  If Texans doesnt take him it seems to be more and more a possibility.  I wouldnt hate the pick but I would rather go defense.

I still wouldn't take him there.

I would barely feel it worth it taking Carr in the 6th round or later. I simply don't feel he'll be a good starter in the NFL.

Backup QB material.

I've seen a lot of his games, earlier in the year I was thinking he would be a great pick at the top of the second round.  I really thought the Jaguars would have gone with Clowney at pick 2 after Bridgewater went first overall.  I felt a draft of 1. Clowney 2. Bortles 3. OL  with a 6th-7th rounder on Storm Johnson would have been a very good draft.

I wasn't expecting UCF to win so much the first year in the new conference but it was a great distraction from the mess of the Jaguars.

Well thats pretty much how I feel right now, so I guess I remained consistent, as that was over 2 months ago when I said that.

Because Skip Bayless is an ignorant talking head and a Manziel-obsessed fruit cake.  He hated the first 21 picks because they weren't Manziel.

To be fair he said he only watched the Baylor game whereas he salivated over every second of Johnny
