Super Bowl Halftime Performers Announced

#1

Dre Dre, Snoop Fogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J Blige.

Probably the first halftime show in the last decade that I'll be looking forward to seeing.

Just wonder how bad the songs will be when they edit the swears out.

But this should be really good.

Unless they add Ice Cube and he and Dr. Dre play Natural Born Killaz, I'm not interested.

Halftime is always "clean up the food, get the kids in bed and head to the sportspub in time for the second half."

I appreciate that they make the show run a little longer, gives me a few more minutes with the fam.

I have eclectic and diverse musical tastes, but too often the halftime shows are overhyped, overproduced and just leave me kinda "meh" when all is said and done.

Truth be told, they could play the puppy bowl at halftime and that would be just fine.

ehhh.....rap stars in thier 50's....they dont age well (see: Ice-T shilling for CarShield). Except for maybe Snoop. Actually sounds potentially cringeworthy.

Hopefully they nail the production of this show and it comes off as great as its potential.

Could be really great, could showcase some "past prime" moments if they aren't careful and prepared.

Snoop, Eminem, and Kendrick (who is only 34) all still perform at a high level on stage.
Dre and Mary J, the producers should just be wise about how they showcase them.

If it were me, the halftime show would be done by Slipknot, Korn and Ghost. The last few halftime shows have been garbage.

I really enjoyed the Bruno Mars performance a few years ago.
