Quote:If all this is true and Bridgewater/Clowney are gone, trading down sounds like the best option.I agree. I hope they draft Clowney, not sure that Teddy will live up to the hype but I wouldnt be upset if he was drafted at 3 the others people will debate i can see so much quality in this draft that getting an extra pick in the 2nd round would be worth droping down a few spots in the 1st.
Listening to Prisco on 1010xl, he seems to think that the Jags aren't high on any if the QBs at the top if the draft. He also said it is still early in their evaluation process so take all these rumors with a grain of salt.
Right now I am thinking the pick will be Mack if Clowney is off the board.

I tend to think that Prisco is not that high on any of the QB's and he has no clue what the team is thinking.

Prisco seems to be really high on Bortles. I also disagree with his QB evaluations but he also has spent time with Dave and doesn't seem to think they are high on any of the top QBs. Just another rumor to throw out there that seems to fly in the face of the rumor that people are freaking out about...

He has a spaz attack on Twitter anytime someone mentions an undersized QB winning the Super Bowl.

Him spending time with Dave is what makes me think he has no idea who Caldwell's high on.
Quote:Him spending time with Dave is what makes me think he has no idea who Caldwell's high on. And I agree, which should fly in the face of all the people freaking out that Dave is tipping his hat. I mean Prisco and Ryan are supposedly close to Dave and both are saying completely opposite things... Quote:Prisco seems to be really high on Bortles. It's because he got a chance to interview him during Super Bowl week. If he got a chance to interview Johnny or Teddy, he'd be singing their praise right now.

My source says Clowney is #1 overall by a good margin. And then Mack a comfortable #2. Odds are we'll get one of them.
Who is my source you ask? The one guy allowed in Caldwell's office when he isnt around. The one and only guy who has actually snuck a quick look at Dave's Big Board. Who is this person? The janitor, Pablo! His english isnt always good. He suffers from terrible tequila hangovers. And he still doesnt understand why the field at Everbank has these metal upright looking things at each end of the pitch instead of futbol goals. But my boy Pablo is a gold mine of information. You can usually find him at the bar at La Nop on Hendricks. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff.
O'Hall was a big promoter of Manziel, Murray and Mett
Considering that this news goes against part of his narrative, I give him credence Especially when backed up by what I know
Quote:I really like Uche as a person. We used to talk about Game of Thrones after crazy episodes. Hes a good dude and great guy.Chukwa is cool.. I got a buddy like that. We are the only 2 in our dept. who can relate and talk about Game of Thrones (crazy episodes, i.e. The Red Wedding- crazy!)

ESPN's Michael DiRocco reports that all indications lead to Jacksonvilling not drafting a QB at #3, looking for player to make an impact immediately.
Good news. Because these quarterbacks especially Bridgewater are overrated. That tells me that Caldwell still believes in his strong arm version of Matt Ryan, Gabbert and will be given the opportunity to win the starting job. Looks like Jags will be drafting Clowney if available or Mack. Sorry Bridgewater fans.

Bridgewater is overrated???? Are your brain cells functioning????? Who is our strong armed Matt Ryan?????? What are you smoking???? Blaine Gabbert??? ![]() |
