They're thinking the Eagles could offer up picks 19, 20 & 52 for our 1st. I wouldn't hesitate if they offered that much in return. They would still have the 23rd overall pick on their end as well.

Egads that is falling waaaaaaay back. To fall that far, I'd want 19, 20, and next year's first at minimum.

I looked at their 2020 fair trade value chart. (there is a link in blue at the top)  First off Eagles don't have #20, Pittsburgh does. They do show having #16.  So, 1000,875, and 390 = 2265 points vs 3000 for the number 1 pick.  Yea the Eagles would like that discount? I wouldn't do that.

Nice draft. So you traded back into 1st for Dotson. Slick move to jump back in. Guess you gave up #65 in the trade?

I'm not sure why PFF thinks we have 76.

This one wasn't mine but one that PFF themselves did I guess.

I love the double up of Dotson and Pickens.

Same. Likely at TE is a nice pick up as well if they work him in correctly.

Thibs and Hutch are the guys for No.1 pick and that has been my preference….however if we could trade No.1 to the Giants for 5th and 7th picks. Doesn’t that give us better shot at improving the team. We could walk away with BAP and the Top WR. Scratching my head as to which is better?!

What about….

R1.5 - Linderbaum ©
R1.7 - Wilson / Olave (WR)
R2.33 - Kinnard (OL)
R3.65 - Mitchell (OL)
R3.70 - Tight End

All picks after this I think would be defensive.

This is based on trading the R1.1 to the Giants, pretty sure we will have a to give up something next year and some later round picks this year to get that but by the scale that works out about right. Acquiring a OT in FA and probably a WR also.

Obviously all trade backs this draft are unlikely, and I know this was discussed a couple of months ago. But with todays report of Calvin Ridley set to be traded.

If Atlanta called and offered their 1st rd pick and Calvin Ridley for number 1 overall. Would it be enough or would you need more to feel good about it with the mental health question marks

I would need more. At least another 2nd rounder thrown in.

I've already stated my opinion on this one. The Jaguars would be crazy to pass on this deal- but only if Ridley passes a thorough evaluation of his current mental state. The Jaguars would not only be getting a top 10 receiver in the prime of his career but the 8th pick in this draft. I'm not so sure that Karlaftis and Ojabo won't end up as good as Thibodeaux and Hutchinson. One of those will likely be available as would Ekonwu from N.C. State. Many think he will be the best offensive lineman from this draft class. He also can play guard or tackle, although guard is likely where he will excel. Atlanta would jump at the possibility of getting the first pick in this draft for a guy who wants to be traded. The Jags might even get the Falcons to throw in their 3rd rounder since they already have 2 2nd round picks.

I agree. I’m 100% doing that trade but I’m taking Drake London or another WR at 8.

I want an offense like the Bengals with so many weapons on O. Ridley, London and Chark give Trevor all kinds of guys. Speed guys. Route runners. 50/50 guys.

London would be another good pick. A wide receiver room with Ridley, London, Chark (re-sign), MJJ and Shenault would give Lawrence all the help he'll need.

Spot on but, I just fear Ekonwu and Karlftis will be gone at 8. Do we take a WR there? Is that too high for London or Burkes? I think it is a few spots too high for them or Ojabo so who then?

Another thing about the draft. Who is the best potential for us to get that would fill a Kupp/ Beasley/ Renfro role ? Dotson or even Metchie? Maybe Wan'Dale Robinson from Kentucky? We sooo need someone like that bc I don't think Viska gonna be that guy.

If both of them are gone then someone like Cross or Hamilton will be there.

Don't know about Cross that high. I wouldn't. Also, not a fan of taking Hamilton. Now that CB out of Cincy is intriguing. Maybe even Linderbaum if he is there at 8

Cross is the best pass protector in this class. Hamilton is probably the best overall player in this class, position aside. Linderbaum over either should be punishable by jail time.

LOL. I concede. Don’t doubt Hamilton is a really good safety I just think we have bigger needs. Again, these latest posts are if we trade down to 8 with Atl. I seriously doubt Hamilton lasts that long.  Same with Karlaftis. You say Cross is a good choice here at T. I have my doubts. This tackle class smells a lot like the 2013 class and is a pass for me in the top ten. JMO though. All of this said I feel I am leaning toward CN or WR if we pick at 8. That means Gardner fron Cincy or Wilson from OSU   To me that makes me think it would be better to stand pat at #1 and take Tibs or Hutch since I am not that gig a fan of Neal   At any rate it is fun to discuss in early days before the draft

With the ACL injury to Jameson Williams, London is now my #1 receiver. We need someone right away and who knows how long it will take for Williams to be back to 100%? I still think Williams is gonna be a star, but it may take him 2-3 years to hit his peak, due to the injury setback. London may not be as athletic as I would like, but the guy runs excellent routes and catches everything thrown his way. That's big considering how many dropped passes we had this season. If we just had a WR who could actually hold onto the ball, it would be a HUGE upgrade.

If we stay at #1 and take one of the pass rushers, I look at guys like Chris Olave, Jahan Dotson and David Bell if they would be available at pick #33. After that, I target one or more of these guys later in the draft, Jalen Tolbert, Charleston Rambo, Jalen Nailor, Romeo Doubs, Skyy Moore, Jaivon Heiligh, Christian Watson, Deven Thompkins, Samori Toure, Jerreth Sterns, Calvin Austin and Dontario Drummond
