This was posted this morning and a couple act shocked when they find out we're gonna interview Hackett Thurs. It could still be Byron but a deal ain't done until it's done.  Rap pretty much said the same thing earlier as well

Some people really want to believe Target boy more than Rap and Schefter. It's as if they still don't understand those guys talk to the real decision makers and leak what those people want leaked. Even if this is just part of the contract negotiations the deal isn't done yet. 

So much wishful thinking here.

I see we have some common sense complications.  Dilla, gene, Harvey, etc all said done deal with some even citing Dillas sources as correct/confirmed.  Now the trolls come out spewing garbage like they have some sort of inside information/sources that confirmed otherwise.  Be adults and smart ones.  Stop pretending to be slow so we can have a respectable convo.

Almost every jags related source agreed and any decent business mind knows you never finalize without leverage.  Now we hear of a second interview with a former retread Jags coach who had rodgers, and we have to sit thru this bs and wait. 

If any of u think this makes sense outside of contract leverage with byron, u either agree with khan ruining this franchise or see some gem in hackett to say otherwise....Byron had winston n  brady and put up stats with both.  Who has hackett had and what did he do.  cancel out brady for byron and rodgers for hackett to make it fair and ill wait

I am not a fan of an inexperienced head coach walking into this situation. BTW many idiots were attacking others like me who tried to point out its not official. Besr believe I am calling them out on it. Regardless of how you twist it, they jumped the gun and Now they have egg on their face. Cut the BS they were wrong. Byron could still be in the running but they were preaching it was signed, sealed, and delivered with out an official source confirming it. 

I want an experienced head coach. I would be happy with Caldwell or Pedersen. Two coaches with previous success.

Eh. I like Byron, but not excited about him being our head coach. Seems like another experiment that this team loves to explore and usually fail at. I hope he does well, I was just wanting an experienced head coach to get us back on track.

I was in the Smith/Pederson camp myself ngl. I wanted a guy who has been there and done that as a HC who had great success. I think if we had to take a guy who wasnt a hc before, Byron is near the top of that list. I'm just not so sure that is what this team needs right now.. Time will tell, hope BL does well.

I’ll take that loss because I was one of them. I was excited about about Byron even though he wasn’t my first choice but it was a move I could get behind and support. IMO it had a lot more pros than cons. 

 Most peoples issue with you comes from the bold above. You definitely get off on doing that to other fans  of the same team on multiple subjects. I don’t think I have you seen you come out on top in a debate and not be a complete piece of [BLEEP] about it. Take a W in stride and move on.

If you disagree with someone that’s fine. And I’ll even admit that 90% of most posts you put up can make for decent conversations. But you have a way of making about 10% of every post you throw up some [BLEEP] shade attack that is normally directed at other fans and has nothing to do with the subject. Some times it hard to tell if you are a troll or a fan. If I was new to the board I would think the former for sure

My guess is it's going to be Hackett because Baalke is gonna play off of Khans 2017 nostalgia and it's clear at this point Baalke has convinced Khan that the rest of the NFL is wrong about him being a bad GM.

If it ends up being Hackett and Baalke, I'm gonna jump off a bridge! That would be as bad as hiring Jeff Fisher and Ryan Grigson.

Yeah this is pretty much a worse case scenario. Hackett isn't a horrible coach but we need to do better than that, we need a leader who can develop Lawrence and guide this team for the next decade or more. Baalke staying is pretty much unacceptable but I've resigned myself to that no matter who the next HC is. Shad just can't get out of his own way.
