Interestingly the rumor claims that this is Tony Khans doing; the pushing for Leftwich and Wilson hiring

If true, think it means Tony may have started wearing his big boy pants with regards to this franchise.

I do believe this.  Hopefully they can get a deal done and we can look to the draft.

I will for one apologize to responding to the idiots. I agree we should stick to football.

Hopefully we can get Chandler Jones and Chris Godwin

I hope this Wilson hire is more reliable than the Leftwich news yesterday.

The Leftwich news was reliable, but baalke played his nasty games. He’s not going down without a fight.

TK sure had a busy night. up in clevelend for the AEW show even made the tv when the rasslers went backstage (shows he is there running that Show) then to fly back and get the Wilson thing done. Good Job Tony

Yeah, he's pulling out all the tricks to try to keep his job, but I think Tony and Shad have finally sniffed out what a joke he is.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Tony more than Shad, if reports are to be believed.

Hopefully everything is made official tonight. Would be nice to get this out of the way and start thinking what's to come next free agency and draft wise. It is exciting though. At least this time around it is.

this completely changes my opinion of Tony if it turns out to be true.
And gives encouragement to us all about him as the Jaguars future owner

Oh my, didn't realize he was in Cleveland last nite. Even more respect for him now.

If true he's now my favorite person in that whole building. By far.

Yeah, the camera even got a shot of him backstage on the live show during the main event. So the shot of him would have been around 9:50 PM Eastern. Meaning he then flew after that back to Jacksonville. Props to him for sure.

He cares about this franchise. To his dad it’s just a paper machine.

The sooner Tony takes over, the better

Tony is a way better "sports" guy than his dad. I never thought anyone could break up the monopoly WWE had on the wrestling business, but Tony started up a fledgling company and did just that. Now, AEW is supposedly beating WWE in some of the ratings and even attracting some of their top talent. I don't know where he gets it from, certainly not his father. If it were just up to Shad, we'd probably have to endure Trent Baalke for another 10 years.

He has a rare blend of smarts, energy, extroversion, and work ethic. Very rare, especially in a billionaires kid. And he really seems to love the city. We need to be rooting for him to take over ASAP.

Agreed.

I won't think of Tony as a stat sheet anymore. He pulls this off, I will be patient on this rebuild. I think this really could be the step forward that gets us competitive and a true turn around. Sure would be nice to see respectable play and player growth.

I love this team and it has been a tough bitter pill to swallow. There are no sure things but a bold move to get to football would be a nice change. No rah rah culture stuff just people that love the game.

Tony should have started his takeover a while ago. He always seems to do a good job of getting undrafted FAs with potential.

If Tony indeed is the mastermind behind this, he should get all kinds of cheers in week 1 next season. What a crazy day.
