WR's Mike Brown, Kerry Taylor, and OL Austin Pasztor tendered offers

#21

I can't wait to see what Paztor does this upcoming season. I don't care if it was one play, he put Watt on his back. I'm sold. Hoping he makes a little money soon.

I expect him to have hit the weights and count me in as excited to see him too.

I am glad that they also tendered an offer to Todman. I think this guy can generate some excellent numbers if they can put a line in front of him.

I like Brown and Pasztor but Kerry Taylor and Todman meh. I think D Rob and a Rb we draft will bump Todman down.He played well in preseason but wasn't impressed at all in regular season. Go Jaguars

He's a bottom of the roster guy. Easily replaceable. I doubt any of these moves change much going forward in terms of roster strategy.

In Todman's only start he gained 100+ yards and had a YPC over 4.

Todman will be our second back, most likely.

I really hope Robinson puts on a little more weight and works on taking care of the ball. He could be something for us. That speed is serious

So these are just one year deals right? I'd like to see Pazstor get a longer deal while he's still cheap.

Quote:We have a couple of dozen open roster spots right now.

Everyone is so eager to cut players.   There's no need to do that right now.   We need to get 90 players to camp, and then start cutting.

Anyone remember back in 96 we signed a street free agent WR, a guy who had failed with two different teams.  What was his name....  can't bring it up.....   who was that guy...   anyone remember?   Did he ever do anything?

J. Smooth... He previously played for Dallas and Philly...

Quote:Remember a guy named John Broussard? He was a rookie WR that caught a major bomb from David Garrard on the first play of the season back in 07 or 08. Pretty clutch.

Got cut in that forthcoming offseason back then. 1 or 2 clutch catches don't warrant you staying on the roster.
Um....the roster is expanding at this time of the year.

If these crazy draft gadgets I've been toying around with are half real, there are going to be some pretty spiffy running backs available later in the draft.

Whadda know about the Boston College guy Andre Williams? He looked powerful at the Combine. The Wisconsin RB White doesn't seem to be a bad option.
