I could see Walker starting at OLB/EDGE and taking a few rotational reps at 3-4 DE before the season is done if he adapts well to  NFL coaching.

I think him on one side and Allen on the other is going to be fun to watch.

I think thats a pretty good haul for the Giants. Help them on both sides of the ball and Neal at 7 looks pretty good value.

I know Atlanta doesn't have great receiving weapons other than Pitts.

But given I figured they were tanking for a QB next year, I'm not sure a WR makes that much sense this year.

Hoping we’re getting a perennial stud.

This guy is a bigger Jadaveon Clowney in terms of athleticism.

If we can coach him up and if he plays with passion, he could be elite.

The issue is that now he takes on a mantle of No. 1 pick. That is a lot of pressure. 

A lot of fans and many in the national press will consider him a bust even this year if he is not at least in the conversation for DROY. Anyone reasonable should know that is crazy expectations. But that is what people will expect.

The only way to make all this not be in issue is:
1. Win.
2. Have Trevor look like who he was projected to be. 

If the Jags do those things, no one will care how long it is taking Walker to develop.

Agreed.  I mentioned earlier today that none of these guys would be a first overall pick in a normal year.  So no matter who was drafted first would have to live up to unrealistic expectations based on their skillset.  Couple that with the fact that he is pretty raw and will need to develop, will be a ton of pressure on a guy that may not be very productive early on.  Hopefully he can drown out the noise and live up to the draft status.
