We may have found our next kicker.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

He’s gonna be our X receiver. Single best draft acquisition when all is said and done. Looking at highlights, I can see his QB wasn’t the best.

Multiple clips in this thread by Laurie, well worth the look boys.

Austin in the 5th round is a terrible pick. He'd have been available in the 7th, or even undrafted.

And for once we actually know that's true, rather than just making an entirely unsubstantiated claim because the team took a player we didn't rate as highly as them.

I want Snoop Conner to randomly be a star on our team just for the sake of his name lol.

I'll honestly be a bit dissapointed if we don't bring Justyn Ross in. What's the risk? It's UDFA, he has insane talent if he stays healthy and on top of that he was Trevors top target in his best season at Clemson.

I read up a little in Justyn Ross's neck situation, and my conclusion is, he should not be playing football at all.  If I was GM of a team, I would not want to take the risk that I might have one of my players killed or permanently paralyzed.  I'm sorry to say it, but I wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole, for his sake.

If it's detrimental to his health I completely understand. If it's not tho, he's insanely talented. At the very least I wouldn't mind giving him a contract even if he sat on injured reserve just incase. Give him a bit of money which he's currently screwed out of because of his condition, and if things change we got a guy.

His situation is terrible, imagine winning the lottery and accidentally losing the ticket.

Also according to him he has no plans on giving up on his NFL career.. someones going to bite eventually.

It really is and anyone who signs him is putting him at an unacceptable risk. It's sad for him but them's the breaks sometimes.

So has a doctor literally said playing football could put him at serious risk? I'm not familiar and it just seems odd that theres so many "experts" and personalities on twitter/TV talking about how shocked they are that he went undrafted.. I feel like if it was that cut and dry we would have heard it officially somewhere. I've heard nothing other than that he is injury prone outside of this board.

I would also have to conclude that it was deemed to dangerous for Ross to play by team doctors. Only explanation for him being passed over to this degree.

The way he's talking on Twitter something just seems odd. Maybe he is too bad off to play and he just wants to get a check who knows.. but he seems insistant that he will play.

Did you all see the latest tlaw presser? He was asked how he would feel if the jags drafted his buddy ross. Trevor didnt say anything about this man not being able to be drafted because of injury. Go back and watch it. Its interesting.

I’ll be honest. This dude wasn’t on my radar but I’m really digging some of these clips.

1. His TD catch was great as he battled the CB and created some space.
2. Lots of clips there with really good route running even though he didn’t get the ball thrown to him.
3. The double move in the last clip?! Yes please.

Trevor on playing with ross....

During the first week of the Jaguars' voluntary offseason program, Trevor Lawrence was asked about the prospect of playing with Justyn Ross once again.

"We had a great connection in college," Lawrence shared. "Obviously, our junior year, my last year, he wasn't able to play. And we missed him, having that threat on the outside and that playmaking ability. He's special, the way he can cut and all those things that he can do. Now it's been two years since I've played with him, so it's kinda hard to say; I don't really know what the development is. Obviously, I know he's a great player and all that, so I'd love to play with him if that ends up working out. Who knows what that'll be, but I think he's gonna do great wherever he ends up. But it would be nice to have a familiar face and pick back up where we left off."

Obviously it can be taken different ways but when I watched the presser I got the impression Trevor was being respectful to a former teammate rather than pounding the table to have him play here

Justyn Ross reminds me of Allen Hurns a little bit. He will eventually be given a chance on a WR depleted football team. If he's not picked up by the end of today he's going to get picked up tomorrow for sure somewhere.
