Its hard to say what i would offer but are defense is perfect for his style of play.  Tampa didnt use him right last year with the zone D and Lovie plays the Tampa 2.  Revis needs to be on a defense man to man is where he excels.  Is he the same player though?  I dunno if he is or ever will be.  That says I seriously doubt Dave calls him but it wouldnt hurt to put in a offer, worst he can say is no.

If I could be convinced he wouldn't be a pain in the butt in contract negotiations, I might be willing to sign him.

I mean, Front Office guys get paid to negotiate contracts, it's what they do. Let them earn their pay, nothing wrong with that. Now, if Revis is making a horse's rear end of himself in the Locker Room, Practice Field, et al then it may need to be reconsidered. However if it's simply a matter of the team having to sit down at the negotiating table with the man every few seasons, that isn't a detriment to me.

I figured that you were, and I agree with you. Then again, I don't think the New York Front Office handled his situation very well either. They let him live on that rookie contract for far too long, and might, might have avoided some of that if they had locked him up long term a lot earlier.
