Jaguars to land someone quickly in FA

Quote:Reggie White/ Deion Sanders/ Julius Peppers/ Searcy
......

Its rare that highly talented players make it to free agency, but when they do, they usually produce at a high level for their new teams.

Quote:Jaguars organization would never pursue those type of players even if they fit the Jaguars system, why?, cause the Jaguars are cheap, like a poster started mentioning, "econojags"

...well, the Jaguars did sign Searcy

Quote:Very interesting, if true.

That one doesn't make sense since we already signed Red Bryant.

So are the Broncos entering cap trouble? I figured last season was going to be as good as it gets for them, 7 pts in the Super Bowl. All downhill from here

As long as they have BigHead they'll be right up against the cap, I'd imagine...

Listening to Sirius XM radio and they are talking to Raiders insider Vic Tafur who works for the SF Chronicle and he said the Jags are talking Lamarr Houston

I know we just signed Bryant, but I still want Houston.  Houston could play 3-tech DT to right?

Browns and Raiders inquiring about Revis.  Can the Jaguars stop being scared and make a trade for Revis Island. He has recovered and he's the best in the biz. Just him alone improves the D by tenfold.

Lamarr is a pass rusher. He would slide in Babin's spot likely. Bryant is a run stuffer. It makes sense.

Lamaar Houston would be a devastating 3 technique, this would be an awesome signing.

THats not a great pass rush with Bryant/ Marks/ Houston/ DE as the front 4.

Not sure where Houston would fit after the Bryant signing.

Just do the opposite of everything this kid says and the Jags should be in good shape.

If he's a pass rusher, he's not a very good one. His career high in QB sacks is like 5.5 or 6.

Adrian Peterson recovered just fine from a ACL injury.

I wouldn't trade for Revis, but if he passes through to FA, then I'd certainly like the Jags to make a serious run at him.

Houston is 300 pounds, and I believe he is great against the run to.  Don't think he would fit in the LEO role, but I also dont care, he is an awesome player and if we could get him here I would be happy.
