But again, we first have to undo what Meyer did and then build him from there. People were calling Josh Allen a bust going into his third year too. He's not Herbert/Mahomes/Burrow, that's obvious. Can he? Yes, he still has the talent to be a top QB. It's obvious to literally everyone, except you apparently. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
We need an identity, I wish we would just try to be a run first team just for 1 game to see it works. If it doesn't work, fine go back to doing whatever. I still don't see how Trevor threw these 2 picks I these last couple games to Bradbury and Stingley. How does he not see these guys, they are right there. It makes you question his vision and the way he sees the football field. I still think Trevor can figure it out but him and the coaches need to get together and fix things

Stingley was bad bad.

I remember Kirk being open and Trevor floating the ball in there giving Bradbury time to react. But I very likely could be wrong on that one. I was just going off memory. 2 things that could help Trevor immensely is learn at times to take some of the heat off some of his passes. You don't have to throw a fast ball every single pass. If every throw wasn't a fast ball when he throws those high ones the WRs might actually be able to catch it. Same with the RBs, if the are just running a short crosser or a short little out route you dont have to throw a fast ball every single time. Try to make the pass a little easier from them and these drops will likely get cut in half. Oh and the other one is the horrible game killing picks

Trevor, along with many other young QBs, needs a true X receiver who consistently separates. This is why I really wanted Pickens in the draft (who is playing really well right now for the Steelers).
However, he has to play better. The interception by Stingley just can't happen. This team is moving the ball with ease it seems like and then all of a sudden, it stops. They had 422 yards of offense. They averaged 6 yards per play and came away with 6 points. They are moving the ball efficiently but they're killing themselves. The hold by Taylor after a converted first down. Failed 4th down conversions (why RPO on 4th and 1?). Dropped passes all over. Terrible interception on 2nd and 1 by Trevor. Terrible personal foul on Travon on 3rd and 20. I do think Trevor is the franchise QB and I think this will get turned around.

Trevor has missed them and overthrown them too many times this season. There has also been a number of plays where a WR is wide open and Trevor doesnt see them. Pickens is a deep threat, Trevor's accuracy on deep balls isn't very good. He is much more accurate on the shorter passes. If we drafted Pickens we wouldn't be any better than we are now on offense and we would be worse on defense because we wouldn't have Lloyd. Trevor needs to wok on his accuracy more than we need another WR. It doesn't matter what WR you have if you can't make accurate throws

Let’s not forget that other teams have game planned against Trevor. They’re taking away his bread and butter on the short routes and making him throw long. They can see 1) his protection isn’t the best and 2) he’s aware of this and becomes flustered and develops tunnel vision when the pocket starts collapsing or when he’s rolling out. He doesn’t consider his run options often enough and will stare down receivers and force a pass. Let’s also look at his tendency to sail passes. He was ate up with it yesterday.
TL’s main problem, as I see it, is his strong tendency to revert to bad habits. Doug has spoken a couple of times about getting old habits trained out of him and I’m sure Doug is a little frustrated. He sees the athletic talent, it’s getting the gray matter to work as it should under stress. Last year left an indelible mark, it’s going to take a while to get it worked out. Lawrence is capable of it, he just needs to believe in himself. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

The only thing bringing a true X WR here with Lawrence at QB will do is piss them tf off. then all you all will be hating and bashing the WR because he’s frustrated with the terrible QB

Agnew was underneath with Kirk in front of him for a blocker. It was a horrible decision and he threw it to the wrong WR with Bradbury right there. Agnew maybe would of scored if Kirk can block Bradbury We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

That's what I meant was it wasn't a terrible decision but a terrible throw. Bradbury started that play quite a bit inside and close to the goal line. A throw to the outside there would have kept it out of harm's way if nothing else. Agnew was open as well and would have been the better/safer option. But again, just because that would have been a hard throw to make to Kirk doesn't mean the decision in and of itself was bad. He was open and there was space to put the ball. He just missed it badly. I think I have the All 22 with NFL+, I'll try to grab a screenshot of where he was when he threw the ball (10-10-2022, 08:46 AM)flgatorsandjags Wrote:https://twitter.com/_John_Shipley/status...LPwH8WoiDg(10-10-2022, 08:38 AM)Cleatwood Wrote: Trevor, along with many other young QBs, needs a true X receiver who consistently separates. But there are still major issues with our outside receivers.
