Unless Snoop looks like a complete fish out of water during camps etc, he should be a lock for the 3rd RB spot on the depth chart. He already has the advantage of being drafted by this front office.

That 4th spot will absolutely be an entertaining battle though for sure.

I think he's been a healthy scratch both games.

Zero offensive snaps recorded thus far

Which makes sense - J-Rob is playing great and ETN isn't too far behind

He’s just a guy, I haven’t seen anything from him yet to even warrant a spot on this team. jmho

he was drafted as a insurance policy for Jrob and our benefit is JROB was ready to roll week 1. so no point in keeping a 3rd Running back active on game day when we can use that for additional DL or DB.

He was a healthy inactive for both games.  I think he was drafted for when the team needed to pound up the middle.  It's not JRob's strength.  The fourth quarter of the last game was a good example.  When trying to kill the clock, we had four 3 and outs to finish the game.  The problem is that Snoop has shown to be a disappointment.  Hopefully, he will improve, but right now, he looks like a bad draft pick.

Bump.

Snoop, there it is. Can now be activated to take a roster spot instead of James Robinson.

Looks the like circus has come back to Palookaville.

Did we hide Snoop and put Robinson out there like bait? Here's to hoping that Snoop will pack a punch.

Didn't see anything impressive from him in preseason. My guess is that we sign another free agent. I don't think Snoop has it.

Snoop looked horrible in preseason but to be fair nobody could of done anything behind that oline. Hopefully Snoop shines. Hopefully he is active Sunday

We need him to be at least serviceable now.

Might send a message if we see Sargent promoted and activated instead.

I have a feeling whoever they push up, they're both still not gonna see touches behind Etienne and Hasty.

Out of curiosity, what makes you so hopeful that he is active on Sunday, especially considering your opening statement?

Do I really need to explain this? Lol

If we see Snoop - it's probably because they need the extra protection on 3rd down passes.

ETN can't block for [BLEEP], and Hasty is likely not much better at his size.

Yes. You said he was bad in the preseason, but hopeful that he's active. You seem to be conflicting yourself. If he was not good in the preseason, what benefit is there in making him active?

Does it not say something that our 5th round RB can't even see the field on special teams from week to week? Are the coaches oblivious to what he shows in practice?

So yeah, feel free to explain. why does it matter if he's active or not? He's a non-factor.

Ok, our backup oline was so bad in preseason you couldn't get an accurate evaluation on him.  With our starting oline we can see what we have.  We have had 3 backs active on GameDay and now with JRob gone he needs to be active so we can see what we have.  He is our 5th round pick rookie so we need to see what we have behind our starting oline

He looks the part of an NFL back. He stayed healthy throughout college but still has limited tread on his tires. He has prototypical BMI and can really punish defenders on contact. He lacks top end speed and sometimes looks a bit lost when he's out in space. He chooses collision over evasion pretty much every time. He may not be able to handle a full workload and seems destined to be a part of a committee. His ability as a receiver is a major unknown and may dictate whether he can stick or not. It doesnt matter because ETN is a stud and as long as he stays healthy we can win games. The only thing is we have to give him carries.

Not sure why they havent used Snoop in the RZ though. Hes a bruiser.

Yes, we hid Snoop during our losing streak. That's what great teams like the Jags do.   Other teams try to copycat our logic but many fail along the way.
