You're right.

It was tipped...but it's a bad route for him.    imo it's a designed pass to get 5 yards, but I don't think Trevor makes good outside passes.

The defender clearly tipped the pass...
Didn't see the tip, looked like he tried to throw it wide to ensure it wasn't behind the WR and had to go around the DE
