Emmanuel Sanders visited Jaguars signed with Denver/Manning in decline?

He's a smart route runner. He is NOT fast. At all.

Whatever, he made plays and displayed YAC yardage, which is similar to Em Sanders' game.

We don't need to corner the market on these small framed WR's....

Quote:Amazing then that before last season his TD total was 2, and he was nothing more than a fringe player.

Guys that actually play closer to a 4.2 as you suggest are more impactful than Em Sanders.

All I was doing was talking out of my [BLEEP], like you do. Saying something without any basis or need to provide evidence.

Saying Brown plays faster than he does, when he doesn't, is the same as me saying Sanders plays like he runs a 4.2

Making up stats about a player just to criticize him is nothing but trolling. TMD must be trying to get band again.

As far as Sanders is concerned, there is nothing wrong with bringing in competition and letting the best man win. That is how you get better as a team.

He is a perfect fit in Jacksonville whether people like it or not! Watch more football talk less on forums

Quote:Different QB/OC/HC/GM/Owner/Opposite WR but Sanders played outside this year on the opposite side of Brown and seemed to do pretty good.

Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown + that other breakout WR in Pitt that took focus away from Em Sanders, plus, as said, he was motivated as it was his contract year. He's been nothing but a fringe player until this season.

Do NOT want.

Has vultures like Cotchery,Miller plus 2 pro bowlers in Mike Williams and Antonio Brown and also a young stud running back in Bell for a team that is run first normally.

what stats did I make up? One of the first posts said Sanders was a 70 caych/ 700 yard guy last year. Do the math genius, thats a 10 YPC guy. Thats where I got that number from.

No, Sanders has been on the team for years....I though Pitt had some rookie or 2nd year guy that was getting run for them.

67 for 740 last year for one. Drops him down a whole yard so you can troll.

Quote:yeah, and those are short pass & YAC yard totals.

What I am talking about is the kind of WR that is about 6'1, or taller and 215+ and can make plays on deeper passes by beating tight coverage with outjumping/ outphysical-ing the DB for the ball. Other than Blackmon we have no one that can do that.

I'm honestly dumbfounded with this response. You complained about YPC. What does it matter at all how a receiver gets those yards? If I give him a 1 yard screen and he takes it 13 every time, do those yards not count the same as the guy who catches it 13 yards down field?

I'm all for having a bigger physical "fight for it" guy in the mix too, but this complaint on "how" he achieves your desired YPC metric is just so so petty.

I love the guy! Really hope Tampa doesn't sign him and he chooses our jags

I'm just curious what big wr did Seattle have last year? Pretty sure it was that other team who got whooped with the size! It's all about what type of wr's for your scheme and sanders fist perfectly

So you are arguing about something that in reality you have no actual knowledge about. More proof of trolling.

What does it matter?? Seriously???

You want a DYNAMIC passing offense. One that can possesses MANY different ways to beat you. Havign a bunch of Ace Sanders/ Em Sanders rather than exchanging Em Sanders with a guy that possesses the skill set of a more physical WR whose bigger and can win jump balls gives the offense more options.

This is crazy. You people are defending a limited player. A smallish limited player. He does not belong as a starting outside WR, he's best utilized pretty much as we use Ace Sanders tight now. We have NO need for another one.
