To me, the five dropped passes were the biggest concern last week.

Our defense, while not great, has managed to keep us in games. Detroit was the exception. But dropped passes have plagued us all year. The situation will get worse next year when we lose Marvin Jones and probably Agnew. That leaves us with Ridley, Kirk and Zay.

Z. Jones was great against the Ravens, but he couldn’t catch anything against the Lions.

I like Kirk a lot, and it’s obvious Trevor does too.

Living in Atlanta, I followed Ridley, and liked him. But can we count on him being the same player he was three years ago? I hope so, but I think we need more.

While many understandably want to use our first pick for a defensive player, I think a great WR would have a bigger impact on our success.  Imagine having Ridley, Kirk, and Quentin Johnson as your receivers, Travis E. as your running back and Trevor Lawrence as your QB! That, my friends would be a top five offense. Think how much fun they would be to watch. They would score a lot of points…in most games more than our defense would give up.

I definitely would like to add another receiving weapon but that was not the biggest concern from LAST WEEK, in my opinion. I dont recall seeing a game like that where the offense scored every single drive and got whatever they wanted.

You think 5 dropped passes were the biggest concern last week? Detroit scored on EVERY POSSESSION. They never punted.

I swear dude once Vic Ketchman started saying WRs are a dime a dozen we've been starved for legit talent ever since. This was like 20 years ago ... mother of god.

Agreed on this. Defense didn't even show up. That kind of performance is expected at the college level. Couldn't even manage one [BLEEP] stop. Had two sacks completely whiffed on, blown coverages, etc.

The fact that this defense cannot finish and the fact that they're now 25th overall as a unit, 19 sacks in, which, is basically on par with the 2008 and 2020 squad AFTER two years of heavy investments made? That's a HUGE concern moving forward.

I think those dropped passes may have kept us from contending in a shoot out. Say what you want but confidence goes a long way, and had we scored on that first drive and answered back immediately I think the morale would have helped everyone including the defense.

But, I think yesterdays game goes to show how valuable Andre Cisco is to our defense because without him our pass defense crumbled.

the 2nd drive after the fumble where Zay dropped the ball at the 5. that told us how the day was gonna go. Kirk was the only one actually catching anything.

After all the money and high draft picks put into this defense and this is the result. Will their be any accountability??? Has to be. Has to be.

We are 25th on D for the season.  I bet we are last from week 4.  After week 3 we were 4th and led the league  in some defensive stats.

Even if we had zero drops and scored 2 more TDs, we still would of lost by double digits. Defense is by far the worst

The dropped passes and fumble really hurt the offensive momentum early on. However, you will never win a single game with a defensive performance like the one we saw.
