Jag88 is just confused about why he ended up there and how terribly he sucks at playing CB in the NFL

I am confused and shocked. This guy was a solid cb seemingly like not very long ago. I'm suprised the jags didnt find a way to trade him.

Griffin mixed in a few good games with the bad ones last season, but the bad ones probably should have been more of a red flag to the staff and FO in Jax. 

The bad stuff became the new bar for him in 2022 and he just got worse instead of better.

It is a bit wild that he fell off the proverbial cliff so completely -  but he was indeed teetering near the precipice last year.

Griffin is a liability, same with his backup Herndon. I thought he was alright last year but once people figured out how good Campbell was, and started pushing the ball his way it got ugly.

I'm just relieved to know we don't HAVE to win this game. I say if we fall behind put the backups in. We need to keep this rhythm we've found going.

Just in case we lose to the Tacks, our wild card hopes would depend on us beating Houston. So really if we could just win both that'd be great.

Nobody....that would mean starters would be sitting for over two weeks....that would be the dumbest move ever....look at what happens to playoff teams that have a bye week.....they usually sit last game....have the first game off in the playoffs.. that's two weeks and most are one and done in the playoffs because of it....we haven't won anything yet....play to win.... plus you can't play scared of injury.... players get hurt same thing could happen if you sit players and rest them too long

My question is what Houston will do? Comparing Trevor with Zach Wilson and how the Jets have lost out, are they willing to concede the No. 1 pick to the Bears?

As for sitting people, I would say start the healthy ones, but rotate more and/or bench those with concerns if we get ahead. Hopefully that will allow the team to get fresher without getting rusty.

The QBs this year could easily all be busts and I don't see any of them being ready to play after 2 years. There is no top QB that you can easily say he is ready to start im the NFL right now.

Anyone truly injured should rest.

I think you rest them during the week, if they can go, even in limited play, let them get some reps.

I don’t follow the college game, so I have no clue about what talent will be available in the draft. My point was that we got Trevor because the Jets decided to win a few late, pointless games. I think the Jets regret that decision, and Houston have to make some decisions whether they want to add one or two more wins in a losing season and see Chicago select first in the draft.

A head coach has the most influence on that.  The players aren’t going to put bad play on tape specifically to help a club’s draft status.  A head coach would only make personnel and play call decisions to attempt to affect draft status if he were reasonably assured he was safe from being fired in the off-season.  I’m not sure Lovie is anywhere close to being safe and I don’t dislike Lovie as a coach.  

My understanding is head coach and GM contract details aren’t necessarily made public like player contracts.  That does leave a door open for ownership to incentivize losing under certain scenarios where you’re already in contention for #1 overall pick.  Perhaps for the integrity of the game, those details should be made public.  Maybe I’m way off base on this though.

If the final wildcard spot comes down to a bunch of teams at 8-9, I believe we would hold the tie break over all of them.

That would require Miami losing out and no other contender for the final spot winning more than 1 game, but still a possibility.

So the texans isn't a meaningless game yet.

You can't put it in a contract as the contract is known, it's just not shared with the public loke players. You also can't outright lose with the league watching now. You can make stupid decisions that lead to losing though.
