Emmanuel Sanders visited Jaguars signed with Denver/Manning in decline?

I'm suddenly not crazy about Em. Sanders

Not sure why you or anyone else would be even prior to that news.

One awkward hit to Manning and the Broncos are done.

No question about it. It might not even take that. The velocity on his passes by the end of the season was much less than at the beginning. You saw it by the time the SB came around last year. Manning was done.

The cap will eventually catch back up to them. Then they will be gutting and rebuilding.

I don't see it that way.  When Manning goes, $20m is off their cap and the recent transactions are gone as well (D. Ware).  Denver is signing deals on a cash basis (e.g. not deferring payments through the later parts of the players contracts).

Manning will be gone before the end of a lot of the deals they have done this offseason.

Even if the cap isnt an issue, the fact that they are building the team around a bunch of aging players is.

He had his best season ever...

He was surrounded with the most receiving talent he's ever played with...it wasn't "the best football he ever played", IMO.

....and despite the talent he had nothing left by the time the SB came around.

I was his best statistically but not his best physically and I gotta agree with TMD on this one.  Towards the end of the year he was really showing his deterioration.

Has to be a better debate than talking about Emanuel Sanders for 20 pages.

That's pushing it. Actually, that's not even pushing it, that's just flat out wrong.

Manning played with two future Hall of Famers at receiver, and both have proven they can play without him.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Well this thread is done. Put a fork in it.

Yeah. I don't think TMD thought about that one when he posted it. I can't imagine that even TMD thinks something that far-fetched.
